If you only have time to go to one record store in Montreal, this should be the one. Its big, has a great selection and the prices are really good. I particularly like how they classify the used records and price accordingly based on the state that theyre in. In my opinion, best record store in Montreal.

Awesome Record Store for Vinyl Lovers!

Aux 33 Tours in Montreal's Plateau area is a vinyl paradise! My brother and I are hooked. Right as you walk in, there's this super cool New Arrivals section. They add fresh records every week – new and used ones – so you always find something you're into.

They're not just about records. They've got gear for your record player and even replacement parts way at the back. The bilingual staff are knowledgeable and can definitely help you out.

Prices for records are fair and they have a loyalty rewards membership program too. Spend a certain amount this year, and starting next year, you get a discount on new and used records. And if you can't find a record you want, they can order it for you to pick up.

They're not just about sales; they care about your records too! They sell sleeves to keep your vinyl safe. Basically like a one-stop shop for everything vinyl!

Favourite record store, huge selection of new and used vinyls. Used prices are comparable to other places I've seen. Definitely recommend checking out.

Unbelievable store. I've never seen so much heavy metal in a two block radius. Between this store and Freeson Rock I think they have it all. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I'm sure they know all genres equally, but I was on cloud 9 here in their metal section. Keep up the good work!

Really cool record store. I went with my friend and was able to find a bunch of new and used vinyls that I liked. I sometimes order online from here too, it's free shipping over 80$ I think. Definitely going to go back around my bday, super fun place if you're into vinyl, cds or audio equipment. Update: picked up the new dua lipa radical optimism vinyl (in red) and a bunch of used vinyls at a great price. Definitely going to have a listening party soon. Love the store

The best selection I've discovered so far, including many Japanese releases which is always exciting to find. It's very well organized for vinyl, the store aisles are neat and clear of excessive dust too. The prices are very fair and they have a large and varying selection of used new arrivals, including relatively new releases. They are sold out of a lot of new alternative releases but at their prices, I'm not surprised if people flock here when looking for them but you can actually join a mailing list on their website where you get a notification when the album is back in stock.

Well organized and clean joint! I’ve found some choice disco here for three bucks or less, and almost everything is in perfect shape. It’s certainly incredible to dig here without any hassle, and the staff are immensely courteous and helpful. A well run establishment in the finest fashion.

My favorite record store in Montreal. Super fun when they have live music events and have a great selection. Highly recommend buying vinyl equipment from there as well (speakers, etc.) as they have great service and will buy it back from you when you’re ready to upgrade

I've been in record shops all over the world, and I'm happy to say that the best one is still about 3 minutes walk from where I live. That place is Aux 33 Tours. While all the big music store in Canada have come and gone, it's amazing to see that the independent record store is thriving! I could spend hours there and it's next to impossible to leave there empty handed!

Great shop. The best organized and best presented record shop I’ve seen. First visit and found some nice Bossa Nova records. They have a nice selection of vintage equipment at very reasonable prices as well. I will return.

What a delightful and richly stocked shop! I was looking for mostly jazz and soul, and they had an exceptional selection of both, including many records you just don't see in the US - European records by old jazzers who went overseas when they were unappreciated at home. Cheap beat copies, pristine mint original Blue Notes, modern deluxe Tone Poet reissues, and everything in between. Prices are fair. Staff is very helpful. The place is huge - not as big as Amoeba Hollywood, but possibly a stronger collection in the used records. Very large Francophone section - I wish I knew more. They also have tons of vintage turntables, amps, speakers, etc. plus every kind of cartridge and needle you could want.
