Sobeys Head Office

Sobeys is my go to place to shop, I have great customer service each time I shop at any location.

For example I was in the Sobeys location on Tacoma in Dartmouth and experience amazing customer service by Gerard Dunn with his easy going, bring smile, positive attitude, and his welcoming approach it made me feel that I was the only person he was serving. He is very customer centered focus, he actually remember an item I got the last time I was in that I actually couldn't remember what it was.

This person should be consider at this location to be a Sobeys Ambassador to motive and train new staff. I hope Sobeys has a staff recognition program of so he certainly deserves to be recognized.

Hats off to Sobeys for your great hiring selection. You have a valuable employee that wears your reputation well.

Great place to work

I went to sobeys in Barrington Passage to buy Imodium…. 60 capsules…. It was $48.49 then went to price it at no frills in Barrington and for the same box of pills they were selling them for $37.99….. really sobeys is that necessary!!…. Took them back …. I will be going to no frills from now on!!!!!!!!!

Flyer said our compliments ham and bologna was 2.29 store manager was rude and not honoring what the flyer said

If you want customer service, dont go to Sobeys ! Bought an item for supper, when I was preparing I noticed mold all over the item. Drove back to the store (probably spent 10$ in gas, was told 'sorry' and given a replacement ! At least SS offers a gift card for all of your troubles.. not Sobeys ! Was told by mgr it got out of hand. I can imagine. This is the 3rd time I have had to return food items..... 'sorry' ! is all I got. SAD !

When I was at the prince street in Truro NS store at 430 Friday afternoon September 11. I was going to buy a large box of blueberries local wild blueberries,they did not have a elastic around the box like the smaller box did. So seeing two employees standing at the meat department side at the back of the store,I asked them if they had any elastic to put around the box ,the employees said ,No. And did nothing to try to help me . So I said , I will not be buying my berries here.These two female employees were standing just a few feet away from each other and both heard me .

I called Sobeys for an elderly neighbour. I called two offices, one in Calgary and the Head Office in N.S.. They have to be the most obtuse, rudest, longest wait to not be able to answer a question about them. I am not a regular customer, the neighbour is. But I can assure Sobeys that after this simple phone call I will NEVER be a customer.

No option to give zero stars. Because of their ransomware fiasco and their lack of the appropriate firewall protection customers cannot redeem their gift cards and it's the CUSTOMER'S issue - no effort whatsoever made to make a concession to redeem. Absolutely useless organization .
