Madison Square Liquor Mart

April 29th, 2024. Helpful staff. Would like to see more hot sales on different wines.

Great customer service looking for a new Champagne, and was shown ice cuvee but was worried it would not be sweet enough so the gentleman was kind enough to open it so I can try it. This was great customer service! Great job on going beyond my expectations. I will be going there agian!

This MLCC location in Madison Square was renovated in 2018 and it looks much better than it did previously. The renovation converted the “classroom” and training area to space with store shelves to showcase new products (i.e., it’s about one third larger now). This location is well-organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve asked many questions about beer, wine, hard liquor, etc. and staff appear to be well-trained and offer helpful advice. There is a refrigerated section near the checkout with a number of types of cold beers for easy pick-up.

A lot of alcohol. I would like to buy something for myself, but unfortunately I don't have enough money, so I just looked and wrote down for future purchases. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll buy myself a bottle of good Spanish wine for Christmas.

This has to be my favourite liquor store, even though it’s over an hour away from home. The selection is always great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that I always end up buying way more than expected because there are so many different products 🍹

The staff are really friendly and helpful. They often open another register if there are more than a couple of people in line, so there are hardly any line ups. Store is clean and well-organized.
I attended a wine tasting in their events room, which was wonderful. The person leading the tasting was engaging and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and new. Would definitely attend another wine tasting here.

Swung by here to get my dad some scotch for Father's day, they did not disappoint! Definitely a love of what they do there!

When I first saw the outside of the building, I thought that it looked poor and creepy, but when you cross the doors, you will be stunned by how well organized and modern it looks!

They have a really good selection of beer, especially of craft beer from across Canada. They also have a section with local beers, which is awesome. They also have a great strong liquor selection. I must admit that they don't have a lot of variety in wines and ports. The staff is very good and friendly, they know their stuff and they can teach you how to enjoy your drink of choice to the fullest.

Location is great and easy to access, in a small "mall", near Portage Avenue.

Large selection, and convenient location - near Polo Park Shopping Centre. All of the traditional staples are available here, plus a few limited / specialty releases. Good service, helpful staff.

this particular liquor Mart is one of the best in the city it has sufficient staff and they have great knowledge of the products that they sell. whenever there's a lineup there's always staff to fill in to make sure all three registers are open. There's always some really nice chitchat coming from the cashiers which is always nice.
