Avril Supermarché Santé

I was staying in Montreal for a few days and accidentally stumbled upon this market and I decided that it the best supermarket I’ve ever been to. This is why I am giving it a review because I never give reviews. I am very conscious about quality and ingredients. Everything I scanned on Yuka and EWG apps was rated highly. I think of going back just for this market.

So far it was clean and organized. They DO NOT SELL BATH BOMBS which is our reason for supposed coming in. Helpful staff

What a delight to visit this market and shop natural, local and organic products! Also, what a beautiful spot to come and have a healthy drink listening to classical music !

The recent opening of Avril supermarket in Montreal adds a breath of freshness in the neighbourhood. It defines itself as “Supermarché Santé”and somewhat unique concept with natural alternatives.

Who says that food shopping has to be a chore? It was a pleasure to roll the shopping cart in between the shelves, where the products were nicely organized. There is an abundance of high quality bio products, at reasonable price points.

There is a great selection of gelato that will capture every kids’ (and their parents) attention. A section for their bread and cannot be expressed better than “L’amour du Pain - Artisans de la farine et du bonheur”.

Amazing customer service. Not the usual grumpy cashiers that infest our regular supermarkets.

Don’t forget to pick up their points card that gets you 1% off your next bill.

Great little supermarket city centre. Open late and they have easy to grab lunches and snacks. Convenient if you are staying in the Montreal city centre, especially hotel guests.

it's convenient, good selections of organic veggies and fruits, I also love the variety of vegan frozen foods and they got this amazing turkey "bacon" 🌟💯

The first time I went to this grocery store I was so pleasantly surprised. The look & feel of the store is great, very spacious, clean, great variety of "normal" brands and things with normal prices, but also more unique brands and things. Service people are always very friendly and if you're there, please do get some of their ice cream, it's delicious.

Great local market for gluten-free brands, organic options, just good food in general. It's not cheap but their fidelity card can make you retrieve quite a bit and the employees seem to have a better time than in some big supermarkets. They'd need more training at the Bistro section but most of the cakes there being gluten-free and delicious makes up for it!

A great market with a variety of fresh produce. We tried some of the bakery items and thought the brownies and quinoa with chocolate were outstanding! It’s conveniently located close to two Metro stations and several hotels.

Had an excellent salad to go, staff was nice and efficient. The usual at most of Avril’s locations.

I love Avril Supermarché! This one is definitely the smallest but as great as the other ones.

It’s nice that there’s one in Montreal. Parking is not ideal if you’re coming by car. Although, if you park underground (where the condos are) and you shop for $50 minimum (if I remember correctly) the cashier can stamp your parking ticket.

However, most people that go there are going by foot and live in the area and that’s kind of the beauty of that location. 😊

While staying at hotel humaniti I decided to go to Avril to pickup a few things. I was pleasantly surprised that this place has everything. In addition to being a full supermarket they have a small restaurant and gelato spot. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quick bite, the food is delicious and so is the gelato.

For such a great selection of organic and plant-based produce, Avril continues to keep its prices reasonable. The clean and bright shop leaves me feeling refreshed after ever shop.

Tried the place for the first time, loved the food and great products. Had the ricotta ravioli, the sauce perfect yummy 😋🤠 the dessert very good, great service 🤠😁🤩
