I got my hands on some products from a local farm, Aird family farm – eggs, beef, pickles, and sausages. Let me tell you, they were a real treat! The eggs were fresh and flavorful, and knowing they were free from chemicals made them even better.

The beef was a highlight too – juicy and full of flavor. What's more, it's great to support a farm that follows sustainable practices and cares about the environment. The pickles had that perfect crunch and tang that only fresh, locally made ones can offer. And the sausages? They brought a burst of flavor to my meals that was hard to beat.

What truly stood out was the farm's commitment to sustainability. In a world where our choices matter, it's heartening to find a place that puts in the effort to make a positive impact. From their chemical-free produce to their overall approach, they're doing things right.

To sum it up, my experience with these farm products was a delight. Quality, taste, and sustainability – they've got it all covered. It's like finding a culinary gem right in our own backyard. I can't wait to continue enjoying these amazing goodies and supporting a farm that's making a difference.

Our family was incredibly fortunate to come across Aird Family Farm earlier this year. We'd been searching for a local farm that raises grass fed/grass finished beef. Our expectations were exceeded with every visit and every order. I've learned so much from Ingrid about farming practices and what it means to raise healthy livestock. The care and attention given to not just the cattle but the land they graze on, is remarkable. Traditionally raised cattle and pasture raised chickens isn't all they offer...the country store holds many great finds from olive oil to pasture raised eggs to grains grown by other local organic farmers. What a treasure trove!

Arid Family farms is a local treasure! You can taste the difference when you eat their ethically raised, grass-fed and finished beef and their organic eggs. Ingrid’s product knowledge and food preparation tips are so helpful. When we support local, eat well and help our community thrive!

My husband (Jim) and I went in simply for a dozen farm eggs; left with a full basket of olive oil, pomegranate vinegar , carefully sourced sourdough pasta, delicious farm - made pickles, farm -made poultry spices half a chicken and a couple of mouthwatering sirloins. Along with cooking instructions and a discussion on nuts. Needless to say ,we are planning our next visit .Thank you Ingrid for all of the above . Rivers and Jim Ranscombe

We are so glad we found the Aird Family Farm. Mike, Ingrid and their family are very welcoming and so transparent about their farm. If you care about where your animal
protein comes from they’re the best option in Northumberland.

We were there the other day, searching for the best grass fed beef in Ontario. This is a must place to visit, the owners, Ingrid and Mike are fantastic people, very friendly and helpfull. We bought steaks, chicken, sausage, pasta. So far everything is the best we have ever had. They have some very unique items in their tiny store, special gluten free flour, coffee, olive oil from North Bay, excellent and worth the drive.sourdough 5

We have been purchasing from Aird Family Farm for 2 years. We love their grass fed Black Angus beef, free range chickens, eggs, maple syrup and their home made pies. It's nice to be able to see the farm where your food actually comes from and have it 10 minutes from home. They are a great family and really know what customer service is.

We love the Aird family. There are wonderfully warm friendly people. I love stopping at there store. There meat/eggs are excellent in quality for a fare price. We will continue to buy from them as long as we are able to.

I have been buying beef off the Aird family for a few years now. They ethnically harvest the animals which is very important to me. Beef is excellent. Whenever I can purchase chickens or turkeys I always buy a few. All meats high quailty proteins. Definitely recommend this family farm. The Aird family are all wonderful people who provide excellentl service.

Had a wonderful experience visiting Aird Family Farm. We were given a thorough tour about the farm to better understand its animals and how they are raised. The ribeye steak was one of the best things we’ve ever tasted!! Thank you for the hospitality- we will definitely visit again.

First time buyer of the Aird Family beef.
The flank steak was melt in your mouth delicious. The rib eye steaks were equally delicious and of the highest quality. I only wished I lived closer!

We love the beef from Aird Family Farm! It’s absolutely delicious. The steaks are so tender, the hamburger is lean, and the roasts are so good. Absolutely recommend Aird Family Farm!

The beef and salmon was the best I’ve tasted, compared it with similar I had in the freezer and no comparison. Farm grass fed is the way forward. Will be purchasing again.

The beef is amazing, very little to no fat in the pan and the flavour is so much better than store bought. Fresh, organic, free range eggs also have a totally different flavour from the store.

I've been going to Aird for a number of years for their beef and chicken, but if you really want to treat yourself, get the apple pie ! OMG so delicious!

Amazing place for eggs and meat. Plus great homemade preserves( pickles, jams ect). Very friendly owners. A definite must stop place!
