Shelby saved my bacon by finding me a very hard to find Chanel product! She was wonderful and so helpful with helping me to choose a facial moisturizer and cleanser as well. Kudos to her and the Beauty Boutique!

I was there on the evening on Friday July 12th, and I was looking for an under eye corrective concealer. There was a bigger Caucasian lady who always working in the beauty boutique who isn’t helpful at all. When I told her I was interested in trying the Lancôme concealer and asked if she had any testers available, she said “We don’t have any testers right now we just had inventory you can come back tomorrow.” Wow, no suggestion in any other brands nothing just come back tomorrow since I’m being inconvenient to you and you’re too lazy to go to the back to grab it.. got it. I told her I wanted to purchase one today and she just walks away, mind you there was nobody else’s in the store. This is the same lady who offered no assistance when I was looking for a makeup brush. But as soon as she saw me pick one up and wanted to go pay for it at self checkout she tells me I have to pay it in the cosmetic area. Ya no thanks, so I said it don’t want it. I’m not going to give you commission when you don’t do anything to earn it. The shoppers at Metrotown and centre point have much more helpful and knowledgeable cosmeticians, so I’ll go there from now on and avoid this location like the plague.

I've been a loyal customer at Shoppers Beauty Boutique for years, relying on their products for my skincare and makeup. But my recent visit (March 29,2024 1:30 PM) to the Coquitlam location on Lougheed Highway was deeply disappointing.

When I was browsing, I accidentally knocked over two products. I immediately apologized and put the products back on the shelf. Instead of understanding, the manager—Tyla—reacted aggressively, making me feel uncomfortable. Even after apologizing, she continued to stare rudely at me.

When I addressed her behavior, she dismissively said she could look at me however she wanted as I looked suspicious to her!!!!

I won't return until the offensive manager is replaced and advise others to do the same. This rude behavior seems to be a pattern, and I escalated this issue to Shoppers' head office. Customers deserve better treatment, and until then, I'll take my business elsewhere.

They posted a free item with a purchase of a bottle of cologne. But!!! Every Beauty Boutique DID NOT have the item. When I asked why not… they stated they NEVER RECEIVED THEM!! Don’t believe what they are advertising
