IKEA Halifax

It is a great place to shop and I advise everyone to shop. Its prices are very good for those with limited income. All the employees of the departments have a smiling face and a warm welcome.

The staff at IKEA were very welcoming, friendly, accommodating, and professional. At the beverage dispenser, I find that the beverage flavours are very delicious. I ordered Swedish Meatballs along with the Daim Cake. The meatballs were warm and savoury and they were cooked to perfection. The peas and mashed potatoes were good too. The cake was lovely and I wanted to get another one. Earlier before eating, I explored all the rooms and products. I really loved how the rooms were decorated and the accessibility. The ambience made me feel comfortable and the warm lights were an addition to that. I finished everything off with a Strawberry Ice Cream and it’s definitely by far my favourite cold treat. It’s so unique to have a store and a restaurant in one building!

We spend a lot of time at Ikea. Sometimes we grab some food at the restaurant, or take a turn around the As-Is, or pick up an item of furniture we need.

Ikea shows innovation and reasonable prices. Plus, their return policies are generous and you get to put together your own stuff, something I have admit I enjoy. Okay, it's the furniture version of paint by numbers, so you can't take much credit for the final result. But bask in the sunshine of a job well down anyway! 😁

I recently visited IKEA Halifax and had a fantastic shopping experience. The store is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the various sections and find what I needed. The layout is typical of IKEA, with inspiring room setups that provide great ideas for home decor and organization.The selection of furniture and home goods is impressive, offering a wide range of styles and price points to suit different tastes and budgets. I particularly enjoyed browsing through the kitchen and living room sections, where I found several items that fit perfectly with my home.

....OMG, First visit was today and we entered IKEA at 9am and got to the cash register at 2pm.... No Joke. Not at all what I expected, and I now know why Bed Bath And Beyond is gone out of business! This place is no joke, full on everything you could just about ever need under one roof. Has me booked for the rest of this year and even into next with the crazy easy organizational changes the wife and I are now planning for our home. We were just helping friends pick up a few things and we left with $1150.00 of projects and round no#1 of positive living enviroment changes! Decluttering a life long living space never felt so good or was so easy! Highly Recommend a visit, but prepare for a Life Changing Event! We never saw it coming, but are very glad it did! Very large and well laid out store. Staff are helpful, but not too aggressive. Easy to navigate from section to section with markings and overall grid map. Great ideas for each room of the house. Pricing was very good. Food court was very clean as were the other facilities. The self check out machines were very smooth. Location is also easy to get in and out of with ample parking.

An employee named Thuan went above and beyond in helping us find and get the goods we needed. Parking was fair, and the store was very clean and pleasant.

Love this place, it's a big, beautiful store with friendly staff minus the one lady with the dark ponytail & and 0 smiles with the accusatory tones located at the 1st row at the self-serving cashes.
For the amounts my Mum and I were each spending in our carts I'd expect way better than her demeanor. This was my third time there as I live in N.B & I absolutely love the cool gadgets & storage options & plants...how can you not buy one each visit!!!

Try the meals too in their restaurant. Went their for breakfast and pay $17 only for two person. Very affordable if you get a family membership. See pictures below

Your experience will be much better if you just follow the grey road and arrows. Also, they’re lunch cafeteria is top notch with fab prices and great selection. Whod’a thunk!

Thank you IKEA for have so many amazing employees! Special thanks to Deigo at the front entrance , for being so patient and helpful. After 60minutes of shopping, I realized I lost my backpack that have my car keys and my wallet. God, I was panicking! I am so glad I found Deigo to help. He helped me all the way and we were able to find my backpack!

Great store and fantastic food. We come here a lot just to eat. The food is insanely well priced, and good quality. We usually get the veggie meatballs, but all meals are great here. The best part is, you can buy all their food products to take home too. The service in the store is great, and we have also purchased several pieces of furniture here and been very happy.

When we lived in Ontario, our closest IKEA was over an hour away which made it a pain to shop there. We love having one 20mins from home! Although, this is more dangerous, ha! The thing I love most about IKEA is how versatile and unique their furniture is - it really can be altered or customized to fit just about every decor style, home size, floor layout, and budget. Every room in our home has at least one piece of furniture from IKEA in it. While most things are fairly inexpensive, the more costly items are worth the added cost. The store itself is always going to be crowded, so take your patience with you. Staff are very friendly and helpful, thankfully. Last tip - try the cafeteria! I was shocked at how good some of the food was, especially the breakfasts, lobster gnocchi (yes, seriously) and the apple cake.

Really interesting and HUGE store. They have an incredible variety of products. Plan on at least two hours to get through it without skipping whole sections - more if you want to really looks at everything. Everyone should experience it at least once. I highly recommend it as a stop if you are visiting the Halifax area. It is located in Dartmouth Crossing, which is full of stores and restaurants. It is very easy to get to from the highway.

It was great! I had a leisurely look around at cool items, tried the mattresses - who knew U preferred girl?! - and enjoyed Lingonberry fruit water, the perfect size not-too-sweet mousse and the delicious marinated salmon! A fantastic visit.
