Visited from the United States on our trip in Montreal for my son to buy goalie ice hockey skates. Excellent customer service. Free sharpening and "baking" of the skates (for forming to the feet).

Good prices. Even encouraged my son to try on goalie pads so he could order them online after we return home and he acquires the money to purchase.

I had an issue with a pair of skates I purchased online from a different retailer. The staff at hockey monkey took the time to look at the issue with the skate, and ultimately we came up with a solution that fixed the issue with my heel! Great service and highly recommended!

Visited today from out of town. Had the best experience buying skates. The staff was very helpful and amazing.

We have driven 350km one way , once or twice a season to deal with them since day one. Great people, very knowledgeable and there is a great selection to choose from. They do get very busy and it's not because they are short staffed. We have bought 2 full sets , skates and pants over the years.

Always a pleasure dealing with the staff and the couple times, we were helped directly with the manager. Worth the drive everytime.

Great place to get a good and quick last minute skate sharpening (Skate sharpening price 6$). Always very clean with friendly staff and organized inventory and huge selection. The guy at the pro shop was very helpful and went above and beyond to repair my skates. They have a little area to try out sticks and take shots. Clean facilities and atmosphere . Like the one place stop for workout s and equipment. Kids of all ages can learn to skate here or just advance their hockey abilities. Relax atmosphere and no attitude. Hockey in Montreal is in good hands with advanced facilities like this.

Best place to buy hockey gear! Hundreds of sq.ft. of goalie gear. They have practice areas and a patch ice arena for clinics and day camps for kids.
The staff are fantastic and have years of domain knowledge to help with finding the right gear.

This is an amazing shop. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and gave me great advice for my new pare of skates. The selection is huge and the shop had various sizes and models in stock for me to try. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to buy new skates or ice hockey equipment.

Ordered a youth goalie mask online that was unavailable anywhere in Calgary - received it in 3days - my son is stoked and saved me many hundreds of dollars as the only options available locally were premium masks; where all we needed is an entry level one to try out the position! very happy with the purchase

Went there to order custom goalie gear for my son. Cam went above and beyond to help out and ordering the Bauer set up. We were kept up to date on the order and when it arrived was shipped to us with ease. Jen was amazing when placing the order and made the shopping experience better. Definitely worth the visit evening living over 1000 km away.

This store in DDO is the best I've experienced. Anything you want for any sport is usually available. Above all the service from the owner down to his employees is impeccable. Polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and if they can't answer your question will find someone who can. They also honour guarantees on items they sell without question and making you jump through hoops. I recommend this store wholeheartedly.

Great place to get hockey equipment of all kinds. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prices are high, but on par with all hockey equipment... it's the sport that is expensive.

HUGE with a great selection including goalie gear. Can’t say enough about Cam - extremely knowledgeable about all goalie equipment, sizing, fits and selection. Calm, patient and friendly - goes way over and above. Set up at the store was also fantastic - ice, net & mirrors for goalies to get a good feel of the equipment. Also has skate sharpening, skate ‘oven’ and more. Found by chance but Will go out of our way to go back. Thanks again!

I have been to this place a few times for sharpening of my skates, and each time I would browse while waiting, someone would always approach and ask if I needed help. Sharp contrast to other places I have been where no one would approach. Last week, I needed to replace my skates and the service provided by Lars was top notch. He really knew his stuff, proceeded to do a perfect fitting, and sold me what I needed without trying to oversell. Amazing service, and Lars is an amazing person to deal with. I highly recommend MonkeySports.

They have an extremely large selection, in many models, quality and sizes which are pretty much all in stock. This place is all about service and selection. It is a stress free environment to shop, and they are extremely knowledgeable. The manager Jennifer is simply fantastic. Plenty of parking too. You may find it cheaper online, but really, you never want to purchase hockey equipment online.
