First ever Bengali Super Market targetting a variety of cultures. It has huge potential and amazing service. The stock could be densed and more diverse. But hey, fabulous hospitality and the feeling of being included unlike any other makes this place a must-to-go.

For some time we had been struggling to find fishes of Indian origin in Halifax. But since we came across Bay of Bengal, our challenge stands resolved. Rohu, Hilsa and other fishes originating from Bengal region are available here throughout the year.

I will share an experience: they mistakenly had packed 2 different fish varieties i.e. Rohu and Hilsa, into same packet and on realizing their mistake, they gave us a fresh Hilsa without us even asking for it. This proves that the owners are committed to quality and satisfaction. Love the place.

Honestly i didn’t think i would get a place like this in Halifax with all the products I’d get in Toronto. I recommend everyone to give a visit to this store and support the shop. Rahim and Arafat are the guys you look for when you go there. Amazing experience.

This is a new shop. Clean and organized. They are stocking up on things. They have amazing collection of spices and veggies from Bangladesh. They also sell bangladeshi fish like rohu, catla, hilsa… they have varieties even like pabla, tyangra, kholisa in blocks and what not. The owner is friendly and so are the staffs. The prices won’t burn holes in pocket. In short…. It’s a must visit!
