Thrifty Foods

This is a great store to shop at. The store is clean & bright and very well stocked, but it is the staff at this location that put it above all other places to shop. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And I want to give a shout out to Ken the butcher. Thrifty's meat department is above and beyond all of the other grocery outlets and Ken does a fantastic job of filling my custom orders. This is definitely a store that you want to sign up for the digital flyer.

Well, is a very convenient supermarket not very far from Newport Village where used to be IGA and now is closed forever. I’m so very glad l can go to Thrifty with lots of more varieties of groceries and other stuffs.😯👍😉🤩🌹🌺🌸🌼

Great grocery store with good fruits and excellent quality bakery including baguettes (real french-style baguette, not american fluffy one) and olive bread. Also have nice selection of fresh flowers.

I so surprised by how well stocked this store is, very well displayed throughout, excellent selection of everything. Also bought flowers (also great selection) and they were fresh and lasted a long time.

Wonderful the Wonderful lady at the flowers section helped me make a beautiful arrangement of flowers for my mom. We were on out way to her house with the kids for lunch. She was so wonderful helping me out. Please next time I'm there I need to talk to the manager about her because I'm still thinking about what care she gave me. ...... I'm kind of scruffy looking and most people look at me and assume there own opinions about me. ..... the Flower Lady at Thrifty needs an award and a permotion. The kindness of how she delt with me was like she was talking to her own son.

The entire time I've been a customer there, they've always been consistent. ALWAYS on point. These guys RULE!

The baker here made me the most perfect custom cake for my gender reveal! Future customer for sure.

Safe. Most people wear masks. I've been going every week for the past two months. Easy to follow. Fruits and vegetables in front, bakery, charcutetie on your right, cashiers on your left.

Kinda pricey, but hey that's Port Moody for you right :P? Great produce quality though!

Love Thrifty Foods. Great produce and meat. Great selection of pre-made foods too.

I actually drove all the way from maple ridge to this location because of their meat department. Best boneless maui ribs!

Thriftys has the best meat and seafood department of any grocery chain in the lower mainland, bar none. They have well trained butchers on staff, and offer premium proteins at very reasonable prices. Produce and bakery are also fantastic quality. I often call ahead for custom cuts, and I haven't been disappointed once.

Pantry items are pricier than typical, but that's to be expected given the nicer shopping environment and their focus on stocking local suppliers. I find most grocery stores to be a stressful place. Thriftys is a pleasant place to be.

A great local grocery store. Yes, it can be pricy, but the staples like their fruit and vegetables are always top quality. They also have a great bakery and deli. Well worth coming to for a quick lunch or your weekly shop.

Nice products but bit pricey

I really enjoy everything I get here, they have things you can't find everywhere and great food in the bakery.

I find it really weird that some of their prices are way more than other places and others are way less. It's confusing but I have specific things I buy exclusively from them as a result.

The bathrooms are always clean, as is the store, no complaints!

Great little grocery store! Always fantastic meats and Bakery section, the produce can be a little hit or miss and a bit overpriced, but overall nice and convenient and always friendly staff.

My favourite meat source when loin steaks or prime rib roasts are on sale. Excellent choice of artisan sausages made in their Victoria commissary.

Wow! Didn't realize how much we missed our Maple Ridge store, until we came here. Great selection of all our favorites. But, so disappointed- no Tortiere! Ran to pick up the Thai soup that they make in their kitchens on Vancouver Island. All the regular baked goodies! Deli is terrific- enjoyed Samosas for lunch today. Great store,well run a great trip from Pitt Meadows. 👍
