i absolutely love this store! the meat is just amazing and the staff is really warm and welcoming. i have never had a bad experience at this store! i heavily recommend you shop here.

They have a dry ager for meat. Custom age the cut of your choice!! Im trying it out for Christmas with a prime rib. Amazing price compared to the other guys for the same service (but don’t tell them that, I don’t want them to jack it up).

Love shopping at Foodfare on Cavalier but .. I really miss the Bailey’s Carmel Cofee cream. Any way to bring back just for Christmas time!!! Pleeeeease it’s my favourite

I do like that in the meat section you can get five packs of meat for $5. It makes it a little bit cheaper to buy some smaller packs. There's lots of great selection there too like chicken and legs and wings or pork chops or steaks, ground beef ground pork stuff like that

So normally I don't shop at Food Fare because it is not local to me (they have several locations).

I visited the Silver Heights location yesterday...I was on a mission to find 5 turkey's around the $25 mark/each.

Some of the best service ever...like really...I called and was transferred to the meat department. The man was so patient while he looked for and put the turkey's aside for me.

Upon arrival, I was helped quite quickly at the meat counter (despite being somewhat busy...they have adequate staff!). The young man helped me by sourcing the birds from the back and even got a cart for me because I bought more than I initially anticipated! I so appreciate this, as I've never been into this location and wasn't even sure where anything was.

I was even greeted by a staff person who was doing some other work. She gave me such a nice smile, through her mask. I smiled back, through mine.

I even spotted, from a distance, the owner...these folks are hard working!

The woman at the checkout was also very polite and acknowledged me while I waited in line. This NEVER happens anywhere else...

Super kind, courteous and helpful staff. Giving Food Fare Silver Heights a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I am from out of the city, but had a gift certificate to use and was very happy with the experience. Staff was so very helpful and polite and there is a very good selection of products. I would not hesitate to shop here again.

Very friendly people how work for food far

Excellent local grocery. Has almost everything a larger grocery would have for just a touch more $ but I'll gladly pay to support LOCAL business and for the convenience. The fact that you can go in and get out quickly is a huge help. Fantastic butcher in house has great meat selections. Some cashiers can be a bit grumpy but the service is always there.

Great prices for meat and sales on dairy. Delicious rotittise chicken. Zeids foodfare, offers to carry out groceries to my car when I'm with my little one. I felt so welcomed and part of a community

FoodFare is great, low prices and fresh produce. In response to “poopey doopey’s” review. The lane can be accessed from two sides. It is not rocket science to throw your vehicle in reverse. Businesses need to operate, and that is where the back loading dock is located. Maybe just enter the parking lot and enter the lane from the other side next time?

Omg i call the store and a beautiful woman Karen hand picks my groceries and they are delivered on-time n nicely boxed.. i love the cavalier store. Fast n frienly staff.bravo.

This store is the best location, the owner Munther is a gem!! He always has a smile on his face and has the biggest heart! Super helpful, I go to them to get all of my meat for my special occasions. The staff is all around fantastic to deal with. I always leave here in a better mood than when I came in, their high spirits are contagious!

I love shopping here....it is very crowded but really like the meat department. I love their chicken breasts. They arent rubbery . You can still buy a cross rib roast for making melt in your mouth pot roast. The pork back ribs are a wonderful size for two people and really reasonable priced.two slabs for under 10.00 when they are on sale. It is always busy so they must be doing something right.i only found this gem resently and happy I did.check it out.

Portage @ Mt. Royal. Excellent & friendly staff. Not the best prices, but the frequent/daily sale items make up for it. Overall better prices than Safeway. Very good meat department. Good selection of items. Shop there frequently.

It’s almost impossible to find Baileys French vanilla coffee creamer in stock anywhere lately and you had it!! The chocolate chip banana bread is amazing too 👌🏼
