I live out of town and have 2 big Co-ops fairly close, but we prefer to give Food Fare our business. It is now regarded as a pleasure to have your groceries bagged for you and they have bags if you’ve forgotten yours. Service like it should be! And their meats are phenomenal! Keep it up Food Fare!

Great store in the West End. BBQ chicken is fresh and cheap.

Best 'supermarket' BBQ cooked chicken anywhere and great quality meats at very good prices.

Good prices, however bought pork spare ribs and extremely disappointed as they was no meat and very tough. Unfortunately I would go back to Costco for ribs.

I can't speak much to the store in general (except that the staff are top notch and willing to help in any regard) I do love the butcher shop! They've always been great in accommodating me (requested for 1" steaks, frenched pork roast etc.) Ask and they'll most likely be able to accommodate!

This store is my go to place once a week. I feel like family there. I see the same employees so that tells me the Zied family is good to work for. The meat prices can't be beat. 5 star rating for sure.

Great staff, very helpful and a good team. Same people have been working here for a while with a few new faces. Prices are reasonable, cheapest place I've been able to find lunch meat. All around good store owned by really nice people.

I have been to a few Food Fair Stores, and they are clean, well stocked, and courteous.
I am writing this review in support of the owner who was ticketed with a $5,000 fine for opening one of his stores on Good Friday.
I was shocked and dismayed to hear that our government should demand a store be closed on a Christian religious holiday, but close their eyes to businesses which sell liquor, ( a government controlled facility), businesses which sell marijuana, and businesses which allow one to gamble.
Whatever happened to 'Church and State' ?
Is our government going to be stepping in and making restrictive decisions based on all religions ?
This is way past due, and this draconian law, should be repealed.
Who, in their right mind, thinks our government, should base laws on 'any' religious holiday ? and turn a blind eye to businesses for drinking alcohol, gambling, and doing drugs on that same specific religious holiday ?
Justice does not fall from the sky. Justice is derived from intelligent people making decisions that are 'just'. The justice system supports equality, fairness, individual responsibility and respect.
This store owner is correct. People need food, and they should be allowed to purchase necessities any time, and any day.
This 'law' will be changed, and this store owner will go down in history, as the one who brought it about.
Our government has no business making laws based solely on religious beliefs. They were wrong with the Inquisition, and they are wrong with this unreasonable, and illogical law.

This family-owned store is still in business, despite the big dog Shoppers nearby, because of the amazing staff who are the most accommodating I've ever seen in a grocery store. They'll help blind patrons shop, they carry groceries out for the elderly, and they'll order things into the store if you want a product that they don't currently sell. Amazing.

Formerly Harry's Foods.
A very complete grocery store close to downtown. Food Fare stores carry more stock, more varied products, unusual items and can do custom orders for you.
The owner is often right on the premises. Support a local family chain instead of a big corporation!
