If you're looking for an great holiday gift, try calling Suntree for a gift basket. I called with a budget and they were able to put together this amazing arrangement for me. They had a ready for when I needed it, and even offered to hold it in their cooler when I was unable to deliver it on the day I originally requested. So happy with the outcome and the service!

I had the pleasure of spending some time in Port Hope recently and visited Suntree. It was such a lovely and welcoming space. The displays were beautiful and enticing. I found everything I needed from toothpaste to locally grown produce. The people working there were very helpful and engaging. For anyone who is into health and all things wholesome and beautiful, this is the store for you 🌿

Suntree is far and away our favourite store in Port Hope. We buy all of our dried goods there (beans, lentils, grains, seeds, nuts, etc.) and always arrive with a pantry’s worth of glass jars and reusable containers to fill. Karen, Jules, and the rest of the Suntree staff, not only accept this routine, but warmly welcome it. We are also able to special-order our flour, oats, and rice in wholesale quantities, at wholesale prices. Their loyalty program can’t be beat and they are continually finding new, ethically-sourced items and low-waste, sustainable alternatives. This is a great local business run by truly wonderful people.

I finally got a chance to visit this beautiful store. Amazing range of carefully chosen product. Great variety of fresh and frozen foods. Had fun choosing items for a quiet Saturday evening meal. The owner and his staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about good healthy eating. I’ll definitely be back!

I always have a great experience when shopping at Suntree. I'm usually just running in for snacks, but the customer service each time I'm in is excellent. They have a great selection of products. I would definitely recommend this Marketplace.

Jules and Karen, the owners, are two of the nicest people you could meet. They went out of their way to accommodate customers during the difficult days of the pandemic, and recently raised substantial funds for the Coldest Night of the Year charity walk in partnership with their loyal customers. Suntree has a wonderful selection of delicious foods. Our family's favourites include their coffee, bagels, cream cheese, chocolate almonds, smoothies, and natural peanut butter. We are so lucky to have this gem of a store in our town.

I can’t say enough good things about this local store and it’s owners. They go above and beyond in helping their community members through the most basic of needs. They are always so kind and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable. I have sought out advice on natural options for pain, healthier eating habits for morning sickness while pregnant, and natural healthy options for my baby. I get my vitamins there and am happy to support such amazing people who work very hard. Best natural bulk food store ever :)

I love Suntree. They have often ordered special products bulk for me. Their staff are knowledgeable and informed. If a regular product was out of stock due to supply chain issues, they always had a recommendation for an alternative. I love this place!

When we were first thinking about moving to Port Hope, Suntree was one of the reasons we felt that Port Hope could be the town for us - and we were right. Super helpful staff, great selection of nuts, seeds, flours, vegan cheeses. Love the fire roasted pizzas. In the past few months they’ve added plastic and chemical free cleaning products (that I used to order online and feel guilty about having shipped - so I’m happier buying local). They are always bringing in products that they’ve discovered. A great store to have downtown!

I feel so lucky to have Suntree just a short walk from my house! It's a weekly ritual to head down there and top up my spices, grab some fresh bread and bagels, they have Seed to Sausage products (which rule!) and some fancy meats and cheeses when I need to throw together an app plate for short-notice guests. It's a great resource to have down town and doesn't hurt that I can swing into the LCBO next door. Also love that I can bring my own glass jars and they weigh them and I can fill them up with bulk stuff so I can cut down on single-use plastic. Great store!

Oh My Goodness, this marketplace is perfection! It is not overstocked and overwhelming but offers a wonderful selection of everything you can think of - and then some. As if that weren't enough, the staff is super chill... allowing you to shop in peace, but, also have insightful product advice, if you ask for it. Between you and me, their prices are very fair... but don't say anything. It's our secret.

The service and selection are second to none at Suntree. The owners go above and beyond to source and stock a wide selection of local products.

Great local place to buy those items that you can't find at the bigger chain places. The staff is so helpful and kind. I really appreciate the times I have gone in and how helpful they have been!

An amazing experience and just uplifting to see a community store listen to it's Universe. I love that they have a b.y.o.jar/container program. I love the selections and the prices actually match, I love the refill and by weight options to get exactly the amount you need at the time you need it. Resourceful and Encouraging to see such a Loyal commitment. I mostly enjoyed the interaction. It was the exact same as another special interaction that day and made it seem like my friend and I had been going there for years. I just moved here 2 winters ago now, and that was my first time ever. I can't wait to go back and I will be signing up for the points!!!!!!!

Suntree Natural Foods Marketplace is a wonderful local shop in Port Hope. With a wide variety of products, they also support locally grown and/or made goods. They carry specialty items that are vegan-friendly, earth-friendly, as well as a large bulk food section. Service is second to none, a true gem.

This is a great local food store. I always enjoy the selection of local foods from around the area. It’s also a good place to buy gifts, a lot of cool kitchen supplies, local treats and of course their famous home made granola. The staff are also always very helpful and knowledgeable

Suntree Natural Foods Marketplace is a locally-owned spot, fantastic for finding natural and bulk food items. I love stopping in to grab a healthy snack and my favourite kombucha at lunch. The staff are well-educated on natural foods and nutrition and provide excellent customer service to help you find whatever you may be looking for.

I shop here often, fantastic selection, especially in their spices and bulk foods, super useful for baking or trying new recipes. Very helpful, friendly staff and tons of treats for the kids!

Great shop in the heart of town. I especially love the whole bean coffee, the snacks, and the selection of vegan products and treats!
