Amazing everything. What a treat for me to visit this place. Amazing staff, visually appealing. I never knew that a place can display customer service better than I ^^ I wish I could shop here everyday all day. The establishment is very well lit, very well stocked with whatever you need and don’t realize you need. Amazing

One of my favourite supermarket in downtown detroit, the owner or manager super friendly and has lovely smile

Great for the convenience, but not so great for selection. They have some choice items but their food selection is limited.

This is my preferred corner store thanks to low prices, a wide variety of products, and most of all kind staff. Whenever I go in, I have a pleasant time. Not once have I had an issue here. I’m quick, in and out. If there’s line, it’s handled quicker than other corner stores nearby.

Pay no heed to people that claim to have had a bad experience here because of a reality TV show, or some alleged happenstance that their friends copy and paste in reviews. I’d take them as seriously as someone coming to ask for cash and getting mad when it isn’t doled out to them.

We were very thirsty and they got it all!!

I love this place. I personally visit at least 5 times a week. The people who work there like Lou or George are very helpful, kind and courteous. The prices are a tad bit high but for the location i believe are fair. . This is the store to go to if you're ever in the downtown area. They'll treat you right.

I enjoy shopping here. The food selection is wonderful as well as the being a variety of mixed cultured items. The store is very clean and well organized. I also love the friendliness of the cashier and the security guy there. But don't take my weird for it. Go see for yourself.

Reviews are hilarious. it’s a convenience store, if the prices are higher it’s because it’s the only convenience store in the area. Wish it was open a longer.

Lucas is always so nice and welcoming! Always smiling and makes small conversation. He’s a great asset to Eve’s Market and I look forward to seeing him when i stop by. He’s such a pleasure! Eve’s Market is a small convenience store that has the basic necessities needed if you don’t want to leave downtown. Ranges from laundry detergent, toiletries, alcohol, snacks, meals, etc.

Friendly staff. Great food choices which includes subs, shrimp Alfredo, ribs, chicken etc.. after working nights all I have to do is heat it and eat. The subs of course are ready to go.

Great spot, go here almost every day. Pizza and hot food is great. Staff is always very pleasant and friendly. Very big selection, had almost everything you’d get at Kroger. My kids love the mochi ice cream I can’t find at most places so I like to get a box or two at the end of the work day to bring home.

Glad this place right next to me. Lucas an OG and his brother dope too. All the staff good people. I come here probably 10 times a week never had a problem

Lol just saw the owner's gill on parking wars. Gill seems like a great guy and a great business owner who helps his customers! Hey gill I was just checking to see if you are still getting parking tickets. Lol one love

EDIT 3/15/21: Out of fairness and full disclosure, I feel it's necessary for me to point out, that I've never actually been to this market. For this reason, I'm not reducing the 5 star rating, at all. My opinions, are based solely, on what I saw about the owner on TV. I feel that is reason enough, for me to choose, to never give him a dime of my money. I can't in good conscience, however, give a poor rating to a store, that I've never stepped foot in. Thank you.

I just watched one of the owner's (possibly a previous owner in the family) behavior on a TV show in called Parking Wars (repeat, no longer running new episodes) that used to be shot (many years ago) in several cities, including Detroit. He was being issued a ticket AGAIN and it was completely DISGUSTING, the way that he spoke, to the Female city employee (not the first, either, according to her). He flaunted his wealth, including his very expensive vehicle, acting above the parking employee and Detroit's parking policies. He demeaned her lack of income, menial job and made disparaging remarks about her, personally. He then acted like he was doing Detroit a favor, by deciding to open a business here and somehow special, because the first in the neighborhood. He bragged how he had skirted tickets (by placing a previous ticket on his windshield), continuously violated parking policies, using lack of parking as an excuse. There was more than one parking structure, however, within a very close walking distance. Instead of respecting the policies and walking the short distance, however, he chose to take up a prime space, right in front of the Market. Did he consider, that he was perhaps, potentially taking it away from handicap customers? Based on his "sense of entitlement" attitude, at that time, it was highly doubtful, that he ever considered others. What I'm wondering, is that since he was much younger, has he humbled himself any since then? It was not a good look for anyone, let alone a business owner, who should always display a certain level of professionalism and respect in public. I have verified, before writing this, that the business, has not changed hands. Apparently, this has been family-owned and operated since the beginning, however, I do not know if this particular family member is still involved (that is why I did not adjust my 5 star rating, after only verifying, that it is still under the same ownership...as I didn't know his name, to inquire directly about him). If he is still the owner, I'd like to know where he is at today, regarding his humility and attitude towards others who aren't as fortunate as him? If he's not, I'll immediately remove the post (although his past behavior, is unfortunately still a risk of being a negative reflection on the Market) and maybe his absence, is in direct correlation to these very issues? I'm speculating/assuming and really shouldn't out of fairness, but there was NOTHING fair, about the way that poor woman was treated. Regardless of what he's doing today, I sure hope he has lived and learned and at a minimum, has learned how to respect and treat women. Thank you!

What a great place to conveniently shop Downtown Detroit! They literally have everything I need, even the most random item! I absolutely love all the recent & new changes. The store is so hip & modern and the staff is phenomenal. Very clean, friendly and fun environment. Eve’s Market team, thank you for being in our neighborhood!

George was AMAZING! helped me find exactly what i needed in a pinch and was so friendly! love that neighborhood shops like this and friendly faces are still around!
