The staff there is exceptional. They go above and beyond to help their customers. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted, and if they see you looking around trying to make up your mind they’re there to help with your selection. I’m a chef, so when it comes to wine selection I’m as detail oriented with my wine selection as I am with flavor combinations in foods. The gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable about his inventory and the different method how some of the wines were produced. I was very pleased how respectful and professional he was.
I’ll make sure to return for all my liquor needs. Businesses like this deserve customer loyalty. Keep up the good work.

Great staff & excellent product choices!

I think the beer selection here is top notch. I have found beers from all over BC and beyond. I can't speak to their wine or hard liquor but it looks extensive as well. The Staff is always friendly and well informed. This is my go to liquor store in maple ridge without question.

Top notch service from everyone in the store. Very knowledgeable about the products they carry and friendly to talk with. Being a big scotch whisky fan, they have a tonne of selection and even some bottles you don’t see at the BCL. Comparable or sometimes even cheaper prices. They even offered to let me do some tastings with samples they had in the back! My new “go-to” store.

A medium size store with a large wine selection.
My interest is in spirits of all sorts and I keep an eye out for uncommon products. Although the territory for spirits is not large in this store, the selection is very nice. The pricing seems quite reasonable according to my experience with several products beneath BCLB. At least 1 product (which I purchased) is an absolute bargain in comparison to other providers.
The store was not at all busy when I shopped. A staff member offered assistance and, after a short discussion, recommended another product to compliment my bar. I took it home and was very satisfied.
I like this place and I will certainly return when I am in the neighbourhood.

Clean and quiet shopping floor. Many shopping options available. Price is about normal. Employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Credit cards accepted. Free parking lot in the front. Many small shops and dinning options nearby. Bus stops available in short walking distance.

I went in to browse around for wine, and then Lisa came up to ask If I needed any help. We ended up chatting about all the different wines I like, and why, and what happened to certain ones I can no longer find. Then she found me a wine that had the same blend of grapes I was missing, which turned out to be magnificent. It was a great experience, and I recommend this store!

Can’t say enough how happy I was with my experience here. Josh helped me out with some Canadian beer options, as I was visiting from out of town. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and I must say that the beers he recommended were spot on! You all have some delicious beer in Canada!!

This is a place I go out of my way to shop at. The staff is unbeatable in their friendliness and knowledge, which allows them to make great recommendations always. Often times I find myself spending more time than intended because I will get caught up chatting with one of the workers and learn a bunch about a new wine or beer.

These folks have spirit, and more than just the bottles on the shelf. Customer service is great every single time, and their choice selection is some of the best in town. Jak's is my go-to place now!

Just wanted Josh (I think that was his name), who shares my love of sours, to know how awesome his service was. Although, the service is always great and we are always getting new suggestions from staff. He had "hidden" the last of Sour Outage by Riot Brewing in behind a couple of other bottles.
He said it was a mistake batch when they were en route to make a stout and the power went out. Turned out to be a delicious mistake. :)

Love this store! The most friendly staff and great local selection. Love that they sell a lot of singles so I can try different beer, ciders, coolers, etc. Without committing to a whole case.

Amazing selection!! Doesnt compare to any liquor store I've been to. Huge selection of craft beers and ciders. Josh, the Australian man, gave me some great recommendations. He sure knows his stuff. Ask for him.

I love this place. There is one guy and one girl who are super nice and friendly while others seem miserable and not happy to be working but other then that this place is great. They always have what I'm looking for
