Not your average wine shop. Wide variety of products from your staple every day items to really special, amazing products in the "fun room" (photo). The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend the tastings here as well if you want to have a fun but also educational night out. I drive out of my way to come here.

Very knowledgeable and polite salesperson! I only went in for 1 bottle of wine but ended up getting two different bottles and two cans of local beer. I think the prices are a bit higher here but it seems to stock very good wine / liquor. I headed for the wines under 30 dollars wall and there was still a lot of good selection. Having someone that knows the products and makes recommendations scored major points with me.

The staff here are amazing. That's really the most important thing in my opinion for a liquor store. There are so many choices that you actually do need to be an expert to have any chance of knowing more than what the label says.

The staff here care, they know thier products and they really want to help you find something you can enjoy. I really enjoyed my time here today talking with them. They took time with me to answer questions, provide options and help me with a recommendation based on the body of the conversation. It's so refreshing in today's world of staff hiding behind the counter and really not knowing their offering.

Bin 905 in nowhere near my place if residence or employment, nevertheless I will be making my way back here to show my appreciation through my patronage.

I ordered one of Bin 905's wine advent calendars (only $235 plus tax) and then tried to bring it home in a cab. The cabbie took it out of my friends hands, didn't ask what it was and half of the wine bottles fell out and smashed on the curb before we could do anything. He then said sorry and drove off. I went back into the store, dejected, and asked to repurchase the broken bottles at a discounted rate (only paying for the replacement bottles) and the staff not only replaced the bottles for FREE, but helped tape up the box so I could get them home safely.

I have never experienced this level of customer service, friendliness and generosity at any other liquor store in Alberta, and I've been to several. I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only do they do fun products like wine advent calendars that nowhere else is doing, but they really go the extra mile for customers, even if it means taking a financial hit.

Their prices are reasonable and the top notch customer service is something you can't buy. I will 100% be back and would recommend this place to anyone above any other liquor store in Calgary.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Really listened palate request and picked the perfect gifts for me. Also have a little lesson in Italian wine processes and provided the daily samples. Wish we had this place in Toronto!

I usually visit Bin 905 when I'm looking for a gift or something specific for myself. Every time I'm a bit nervous because I have young children and I'm not sure how the store will respond to having kids wandering around. They have always been friendly and I've never felt like they didn't want us there. The selection they offer and the helpfulness of the staff will keep me coming back.

This was such an amazing experience! The man who helped us was so charasmatic and passionate about his job! It was refreshing to be somewhere where the people working aren't just there for a pay check but because they actually really care about the product they are selling!

They know their stuff! Fergus was very helpful with both choosing wine's and some spirits. It's great to have such a gem in the city.

Today, I went to Bin 905 with a budget for a special occasion. Not only did our helper find us an amazing deal, but he also entertained with his witty yet knowledgable commentary. He definitely went the extra mile and made our Covid-iversary special!

One of the best boutique wine and liquor stores I have ever been too. The safe is always helpful and friendly with an amazing selection.

Although I only went in there once, I asked for a recommendation for a wine to bring to a Christmas dinner and the sales lady was knowledgable and was able to suggest the perfect wine that ended up being one of my host's favorite!
