Great hardware store with affordable prices and employees are super friendly & helpful.

Normally I would have to chase down an employee for help when it comes to the other stores, but here there is always someone approaching to hep you out.

Canac has become my favorite hardware and decor store. The prices are incredible, great variety and professional staff.

Huge store, with lots of products at amazing prices! Lots of summer stuff, and well priced fans. Love it!

Canac is a great place. Everything is cheaper then elsewhere. Everything.

In my opinion, Canac is the middleman [or woman] between dollar store quality and hardware store quality...and yes, I do know that the dollar store does not have as a mandate to sell super-cheap faux-metal tools, but I've seen enough to know the difference between any they would sell and they don't meet the standards of the trade - stick to stuff that should cost a dollar! You might get some quality goods there, and if it's a particular brand, then they speak for themselves, but if there's anyway to cut corners, then Canac has found it. Most often, a 2 x 4 is a 2 x 4! Just check the entire plank! But I would do that anyway ...they are selling 20 lbs. of Propane for 12.99...enjoy the savings, but they make money somehow, so-ô-on... CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Well, contrary to some other reviewers, I found this place good. Not many staff, ok but the prices are lower than P M, and markedly so.
The woman at the paint counter was expert, easily and quickly mixed me a colour-match for my sitting room paint. Great !

Great selection in their lighting department. Very competitive prices on everything. Friendly, helpful staff!

This place is amazing we found everything and employees were everywhere and very helpful. Now the prices are better then we thought so the whole experience was just awesome

Nice staff, good prices, great selection and I keep going back since the other big reno stores don't offer as good customer service as Canac prevost.

The customer service at the Prevost location was second to none. The clerk in the electrical and heating department did provide some excellent recommendations and demonstrated knowledge of the products....in this case I was shopping for a heating convector. I was satified with the information shared by the clerk and subsequently I was able to purchase with confidence the item I came for. Keep up to good work!

It’s pretty crowded but prices are good and can find almost anything you need in a hardware store
