Been dealing with The Locals for over a year and have always had a great experience. It's so wonderful to have the local support they provide and on all different platforms. Whether it's selling through them or making purchases its always an easy, great experience. The pricing is always fair and properly reflects the time, effort, and cost of materials put up for sale (from their own products to products made by various Canadian makers) . They offer such a wide variety of products, which makes shopping for gifts so easy!
This is the first place to accept my products in to their store and I'll forever be grateful.

We can see how dedicated they are when it comes to social media and taking care of clients. I ordered some items in December and they were delivered shortly after. I was very impressed with The Locals, as I haven't had the same good experience with other local distributors and this is the one I would definitely buy from again! Overall very impressed with the packaging and level of organization, as well as the promptness of delivery during the holidays.

Amazing local store that supports local artists. The person leaving one star reviews is a disgruntled con artist. Paying more for local boosts our economy and supports your community. A $1 mug from the dollar store benefits no one, a $20 mug from The Locals benefits multiple families in Winnipeg.

I am both a customer and a vendor with the LOCALs Winnipeg. Nerissa is the sweetest person and goes above and beyond in her dealings. She pays out vendors two weeks after the last day of the month - like clock work. Believe me not all retailers are so prompt! The recent reviews stating that she does not pay taxes are very ignorant. How would a person know if a business has paid their taxes? The recent rash of 1 star reviews stem from a con artist being banned from the platform / store. To lash out and leave bad reviews is very petty and I hope future readers of these small number of 1 star reviews will take them with a grain of salt. Believe me- if the business wasn’t good, vendors would be pulling out. If the business wasn’t good then why were there 1000s of orders in December? Can these sour grapes people go find something better to do than to be vindictive with false negative reviews? Thankyou Nerissa for seeking me out to consign with you - I have zero regrets! ❤
