Food Basics

The cashier from when I went Friday, was very professional and kind. The person in front of me in line paid about $30 worth entirely in quarters, she patiently counted them all and then collected the rest of the payment owed. I really respect her being able to handle that as quickly as she did.

Food basics have good prices, I mainly go in for bananas frozen fruit and ice cream to make my smoothies, I always goto cashier one cause there is this really friendly cashier there. I didn't get many pics so I included one of me looking awesome 😎😎.

Came back home happy cos I got what I've been searching for. It's gives me that joy

The store is well arranged and looking very nice.

This store used to be the one I hated most in town, but in the last few years they have really turned it around. They have good produce now, and it is nicer and much cleaner than it used to be. To be fair, their produce is miles better than what is available at Walmart. The only complaint would be the company never allows for enough people to be scheduled on cash, and with no self checkout it takes a while.

Great sales and never seem to run out of items that are on sale. Friendly staff but just need to have a few more cashier's on so it's not to long of a wait. Also maybe make the signs that say 1-8 or 1-16 items a little bigger so people who have more than that can't say the didn't see the sign

Hello, I am writing this note to let you know about my shopping experience in your store # 100676 on Lynden Rd. in Brantford. Being a senior I take advantage of your early seniors hours... great idea ..thanks.. I have shopped three times in this store in the past month and have had great experience every time. The store is very well organized and monitored as per social distancing.. and shoppers have no excuse for not following the rules. Your employees are fantastic. I have dealt with a few different ones but didn't get names until today. Tracey has been there each time I went and she is very pleasant and handles everything just as she should., making sure people follow the rules and helping customers get their shopping done. There is another lady there on the floor unfortunately I didn't see her today ( she was there the other two days Wed April 15 and 22) so I don't know her name..she was great helping me find products I needed and not only did she tell me where to find them she went out of her way to go get them for me...great customer service...
Darsh is a very nice fellow and was great at helping me find products.
Deborah at cash was a pleasure to deal with..very positive and a joy to have her check out my groceries.
I know how hard it must be sometimes for these people to go to work and be as pleasant as they are working with the public during these terrible times. It seems people are always ready to complain if things don't go their way so I wanted to add a positive view and say GREAT WORK. Food Basics and your employees. I applaud you...

Great store within the mall

I have always had a great time shopping at Food Basics. Pleasant helpful staff. Product displayed for easier finding and I always get a smile from staff. I recommend this store to a lot of my friends and family.

Recently shopped at Food Basics, which isn't my usual grocery store. BUT, due to covid, and I had to get groceries for someone else, I know they limit the people carefully and have a spacious store. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the experience at my local Food Basics in the Mall.

Very busy place for groceries. Clean, lines move quickly, reasonable prices.

Easy access to the parking lot. Friendly staff. Some shelves required restocking.

They have good prices.

my favourite place to grocery shop, they always have the beat deals in my opinion.. i always happen to cash out with the young red head and isnt she always the most pleasant.. always my #1 recommendation

Excellent selection of vegetables from the local counties. Fair prices and good selection of organic food. Kind and friendly customer service.

A giid grocer. They have everything we need. Fresh produce and a good selection of cheese and coldcuts. Overall we arr very satisfied with this store.

Very wonderful and helpful staff, nice to not be stalked by the staff because of my race. Sad i can't say the same about Freshco or other unmentionable places.
