Went looking for everything to paint our condo and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service we received! Francois Ménard in the paint department was a pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable and funny and we felt like he loved his job which is quite rare!! Loved our experience!

Whenever you lose faith in humanity, my advice is to go to the Home Depot store in St Constant and your faith will be instantly restored.
Plus you'll have some great laughs!
We had a few house projects recently and our experience with the Home depot staff was just great. Painting the walls was a crazy ride for us, not much handy people as we are, but the team at the paints department were awesome and held our hands during the process and shared their knowledge and advice with us in the friendliest way you can imagine. Daniel is an angel, he's helping you around the store and cares like he's family!

Then we had to have some wood planks cut, so we were lucky enough to have another great guy on duty, Martin. You not only get your planks of wood sorted for you professionally, but you will for sure get entertained as well, cos Martin could be a comedian if he decided to change jobs!

And lo and behold, we next needed to get some carpeting cut and stapled, which revelead to us Sam, another wonderful human being from the Home depot team. Jokes and smiles, he made extra efforts to sort our carpeting for us, gave us great advice how to stitch the carpets to the wood and I honestly don't understand how he can keep so positive and nice and energetic with the extra shifts he's working!

I don't know how Home depot finds such great employees but for sure I'm waiting for my next project to go visit my new friends and see what they'll teach us next!
I used to think house projects were boring before I met these guys! But don't take my word for it, go and see for yourselves!

It's always hard to find an employee here.. Asked for help renting a tool and the person helping me seemed completely annoyed and exasperated that I had questions. Went elsewhere...

Google asked me to update my review, and I have to say my impression of this store has taken a favorable turn. I don't know exactly what has changed but finding help is a lot easier and the employees seem eager to answer questions. I've changed from 3 stars to 5 as this is now my go-to store!

The line up looked long but they go a lot quicker than other Home Depots.

I previously had a bad experience with Home Depot but I did close off my review by saying it was unfortunate because the Customer Care department was professional and courteous despite the hell I went through because of one incompetent manager.

A few years later, I needed to purchase something again which was only available here and .... just my luck, the manufacturer forgot some parts - pretty critical failure when you have a limited window with a contractor in a pandemic!

That being said, the customer service department took the matter in hand with a level of professionalism I have very rarely seen in any situation and managed / hounded the manufacturer almost daily until I got my parts.

In light of this, I think my previous review might have been precipitated and unfair and editing it to its proper value is the right thing to do.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unlike other stores they seem very proactive to help, and do so with a smile. My only "complaint" is that they are a bit far from us, so I often end up having to contend with our local hardware store, which leaves me wanting to return here.

I would like to thank Kristine and Phil in the kitchen department, amazingly professional knowledgeable. My kitchen project came out well .
Management must be proud of such employees, you both deserve a raise .It was pleasure working with you

Fantastic home improvement store, always well stocked, and lots of competent crew ready to help.

This is our first time going to Home Depot at St.Constant. The customer service is excellent. They are very helpful especially Mary. She helped us by answering all our queries very patiently and help us get the products we needed.

I need to share this... I went to the store because the Ryobi Trimmer I bought had a missing part, however the trimmer was working good and Ryobi told me that for that missing part I needed to go back to HD, so the customer service was great (Audrey) she took all the combo kit(mower, blower and trimmer) I bought and give me back my money so I can buy it again, and to my surprise after going to the store the combo was in zero stock, then I went back to customer service and another guy quickly helped me by checking all the near stores inventory and they weren't any left so I asked him how can he help me because I really need the tools and if I buy them separate I was going to pay +$200, so he called up another girl from the store and I explained that is just a small button that is not attaching the trimmer and everything else is working perfect,. So this girl call up another girl and another guy so I had 4 people working on giving me a solution, they asked me if they give me the part from another trimmer would be ok, I agreed of course I just want my tools. They ended up opening a new trimmer identical from the combo I bought and gave it to me as is, I was really happy for them taking the effort and time of helping me on this, of course at the end I re purchased the whole combo because they had already gave me the money back on my card. I really don't remember the others names but please thank all your crew specially customer service for giving such a HIGH Quality experience.
just for the curious one, that is the picture of the missing part on the trimmer, I was just unlucky for the performance of Ryobi, highly recommendable!

Usually get what I want as far as plumbing and garage tools. The cashiers are nice. Their green aisles are pretty well garnished during the spring and summer season. I recommend this place to all.

Great place all staff tries to help you. I was there for 20 min and had three employees ask if I needed help. Go to Reno depot you need to find an employee and when you do he's unaware he even works there

I usually find what I'm looking for. I really like the fact that they also have a huge selection that you can order from catalogs, like blinds , window treatment and siding.
