Barkley's Store

This is the best convenience store I ever seen in this area.
You can get everything from here and it’s consisting The Beer Store, LCBO, Atm Machine OLG etc.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s my go-to spot for all my daily needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they keep the store impeccably clean and well-organized. It’s a lifesaver for those last-minute essentials or quick snacks. They have a wide variety of products, from fresh produce to household items, and their prices are reasonable. Plus, they’re open early at 8:00 am and close late 8:00 pm, which is super convenient. Highly recommended!”

Fantastic corner store that holds just about everything one needs. If they don't carry it, locals can request for something and they will see what they can do to get it. Food sold here is fresh, LCBO and ATM also included. Cost of items are not overpriced, compared to other corner stores. You can purchase groceries here if needed and not worry about being overcharged.

Kuddos go to Avi and Nick (owners) and the wonderful store employees, who are hardworking and provide excellent customer service, in keeping this historical building lively in the heart of the village. You always leave the store feeling welcomed. Avonmore is truly fortunate to have such a gem in the community!

Barkley's store was a big part of my life, Thanks to the Barkley family I have great memories that I will cherish forever. From working at the store with Murray and his father to raking leaves with Murray's mother and how Murray's wife was always so nice to me. I'll never forget Barkley's store and the kind people who owned it.

They don't really need my review I guess because the store has been around for so long, but I do love Barkley's. They always go out of their way to help me and if there are specific things I need, they always come through for me, whether it be groceries or just a nice chat when you walk in. Awesomeness all around!!!

Excellent little local store serving the community for over 110 years. Combination of groceries and beer/liquor store with a good variety of wares in each section. Friendly and courteous service with reasonable prices.

I love this old family-owned store. Service is great people are friendly and there's a little bit of everything for everybody. Very handy to have so close by.
