The most welcoming and warm place in the middle of looong dusty windy tiring hike. Staff is awesome. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and eager to help.

Warm and Cozy chalet. A really nice vibe here especially after visiting the base towers at sunrise, we came here to get warm and have some coffee and food. The service here was also great. Coffee, beer, wine, and snacks are available. Our tent was warm and comfortable, but the rooms looked small and a bit cramped. The restrooms were clean.

By far the best refugio. The food was really good. We stayed in the share dorm, which was very clean. The ceilings were high and had good airflow compared to the dorms at Paine Grande (Vertice) had low ceilings. I would stay here an extra night or two to explore the area without heavy packs.

Best place. Lovely bar. Best people. Amazing calafate sour. Joaquin the best bartender. Montserrat is the loveliest person in a busy junction. So full of life and energy.

Amazing atmosphere. A cozy and warm place to rest and freshen up after the hike from Hotel Las Torres. We didn't stay the night but could grasp what a lovely place it is. The young staff is welcoming, too.

The best thing is that they’ve got the room with a fireplace where you can dry your clothes.

It was super handy as it was snowing during our stay and we got soaked. None of the camping sites we stayed at while doing W-trek (including Francés and Grey) had ANY drying facilities at all.

Also, the Chileno staff was welcoming and attentive. Food was OK given it’s delivered on horses from town to Refugio.

Best Refugio on the W hands down. Clean, very nice staff, and best food of any Refugio by an enormous margin. I don't understand the poor reviews. Frankly I think people who write poor reviews done appreciate the fact this is a full service restaurant and hostel operating in an extremely remote and extreme environment. If you have appropriate expectations for what a Refugio is, you'll love this place.

one of the best camp on route W, there are hot showers, clean toilets. tents are on platforms - very convenient. it is important - this is the only camping in which you can not cook.
you can take in the restaurant hot water for tea for free. take your trash with you.
can be settled from 12:30, you need to free up the tent until 9:30

It’s was the first night and also the best camp site we stayed in the four nights W trek. All of the tents were set on the deck in the woods. Clean, quiet with adequate white noise from creek, no insect in early Dec. Water for shower was hot enough. The food was the only thing not competitive to other camp site but was okay.

Amazing to rest in the middle of trekking! Have bedrooms, can camping! The food and drinks are very expensive, but I think it’s normal because it’s not easy getting there.
