Cafe Restaurant Andres

More people need to visit this place! Really delicious food, attentive and pleasant service, and reasonable prices.

We stumbled upon it after our last day of hiking Torres Del Paine. We were super hungry and hoping for a fresh experience.

Even though it was low season, and even though we were the only two people there, our host (who I believe was the owner?) was very gracious and patient with us on the menu and order. He also prepared the drinks and cooked the food.

I strongly suggest getting the seafood here. It was incredibly delicious. We got the salmon and the conger. It was very well seasoned, with amazing portions. Also the cocktail he made looked awesome!

Highly, highly recommend. Super touching and pleasant experience on our last day.

We had one of the most pleasant eating experiences eating at Andres. The menu might not have any fancy new items, but Andres crafts each item with lots of love and care. He also makes an effort to ensure your dietary needs are met. Highly recommend for a relaxing dining experience.

Cafe Andres was such a gem to have discovered in Puerto Natales! We were coming down from our 5 day W trek in Patagonia and the dishes prepared by Andres were exactly what we needed to satiate our exhaustion and hunger. Andres himself is incredibly gracious, speaking Spanish slowly and deliberately since he knew we didn’t know the language. He was also extremely attentive and to boot, cooked the dishes for us himself! Definitely order one of the seafood plates since that’s what Andres is known for. Sadly, his restaurant has been negatively affected by COVID in recent years but as travel is picking up again, please pay him and his wonderful restaurant a visit!

What a surprise! We passed this place by accident, no one was in it. We entered anyway and were openly welcomed by the owner (?) who was supernice, gave us a welcome drink and smiled all over. It is definitely not a high class restaurant when it comes to the interior, it even is a bit weird but anyhow very authentic - we loved it...

We ordered salad, fish and chicken and the guy ran into the kitchen and it seems he prepared everything alone. Other guests started to enter and he still managed to switch between kitchen, welcome drinks and serving our food.
And... THE FOOD WAS YUMMY! The chileno salad was very balanced, the fish on point, the potatoes crispy and the chicken great.
