Papa Bongo

I really like the attitude of these guys, very relaxed and welcoming! We had a couple of cappuccinos, a toast and a piece of cake! They suggested a lot of places to visit and a lot of interesting sources online for exploring Patagonia! A very cool place, in a little town like Chaiten!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The coffee is great. Food also great. But it is the family who owns this and works there that makes it so memorable for me. Juan Pablo, Daniela and their mom were true gems. So many recommendations. Great vibes, lots of love.

Best espresso I've had in Chile! Wonderful and friendly staff and a chill space. If you're an espresso drinker, don't pass this little gem!

Mandatory coffee break if you are visiting Chaitén! We finally had a real Italian espresso at Papa Bongo, something that is really hard to find in Patagonia. Further, owner Juan Pablo is very kind and had many great recommendations about the region for us!

Los helados artesanales son espectaculares, el helado de plátano nutella es muy rico, lo recomiendo. Muy buena atención, de hecho marca la diferencia con los demás locales. Ambiente grato y bien temperado. Si tuviera que dar punto a mejorar sería tener más sillas para poder sentarse.

Uno dei migliori caffè bevuti in quasi due mesi di permanenza in Sud America. Ci siamo fermati 2 volte in questo locale per prendere dei sandwich da portare via: erano ottimi ed economici. Il personale molto gentile e ci ha suggerito varie passeggiate nella zona :)

Daniela e Juan Pablo são os donos; muito amigáveis, simpáticos e solícitos. Nos deram diversas dicas sobre lugares para visitar, comer e etc! Servem cafés saborosos, muffins muito gostosos e o café da manhã delicioso! Ficamos 2 dias em Chaitén e nos 2 dias fomos lá... Na volta, queríamos passar novamente. Parada obrigatória em Chaitén!!! Um pequeno achado, destoa muito na cidade :)

Creo es el único lugar de Chaitén que tiene café de grano con una gran variedad, además tienen helados y pasteles

El café es delicioso, tenían leche vegetal, la atención muy buena y amable, nos orientaron en qué actividades realizar en Chaiten y alrededores. La amabilidad, preocupación y atención destacan junto a los sabores.

Tanto la comida como las bebidas muy bien preparadas y muy sabrosas.
La atención excelente, ambas señoras muy amables, con quiénes puedes tener una grata conversación mientras te bebés algo caliente.
La música muy relajada y acordé con el lugar, así como la iluminación y la ubicación. Definitivamente cuando vuelva a Chaitén volveré también por mi chocolate caliente ❤
