Lodge Las Estrellas de Samara

Nathan and family are excellent hosts. Every interaction was pleasant and interesting. They were helpful with our questions about the local area and beyond. Breakfast and dinners were always delicious, made with fresh ingredients and the gluten free option was great for my travel companion. The views are outstanding. Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was heavenly and well maintained. It’s a short drive from here to Sámara and several beautiful beaches. Definitely will be back!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, scouting for property. I am so happy we chose to stay here. My sister loved her stay here last year as well. Intimate setting. Beautiful views. Wonderful host. Yummy breakfasts and dinner. I'm a clean freak, so when I say the casitas are immaculate you know they are. Lovely breezes and sunsets. International travelers. So friendly and respectful of privacy. It's seriously a 20! 🙂

If you need to be in the middle of everything this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking for a fabulous view, exemplary service, delicious food, and wonderful amenities, you have found your place. We loved being a little bit outside the mayhem of Samara, And the view of the sunsets and the water were amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

The view was amazing! Bernard and Nathan were amazing. The food was so fresh and the wine was excellent. The rooms had a nice ocean view as well.

Perfect accommodation in Sámara. Host is really kind and helped us every time. Breakfast was delicious. The pool is big and the view to the sea is stunning. We also saw a monkey nearby the lodge! Location is good, it is quiet and it is only a 10-15 minute drive to Sámara.

If you are driving to this accommodation, you have 2 ways to get there. One road is not the best and one road is new and good for every car. The better road is the one from Sámara and not the one from the highway. If you are coming from the highway, Google maps will send you to the muddy road. So beware of that. Drive trough Samara and then take the perfect road.

Absolutely incredible place to stay! The views are unmatched, the lodgings are very comfortable, and the food is some of the best you'll have while in Costa Rica! Nathan and his family were so gracious and made us feel right at home. We were able to spend quite a bit of time getting to know them and the other guests while sharing meals or just hanging out in the gazebo or pool. I would say that a 4X4 vehicle is the best way to access the property as the roads can be somewhat steep and bumpy. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay.

Stayed here with my wife and 2 month old baby for 6 nights. Very friendly owners, took care of us from the first minute we arrived. Clean rooms and amazing views. Don’t forget to to ATV your with owners son Paolo, we did sunset tour and it was incredible.

We have been in Lodge las estrellas for 3 nights. It has been incredible, the houses are very well designed and the views are fantastic. The best: the owner Jean-Luc and his son, very friendly and recommended us to go to a beautifull beach and they let us an hamaca and a minifreeze.
Breakfast was so good, and a lot of quantity (with half of the breakfast was enough for us).
It is 10 minutes from Samara but it deserves it.

Amazing place and host. They organized a great dinner and gave us many tips on local stuff. Would highly recommend, the view and the amenities make it worth it.

Sur les hauteurs de Samara, la vue panoramique depuis les chambres, la piscine et le coin repas est juste magnifique !
De loin notre meilleur logement au Costa Rica pour un prix qui se justifie au regard de la qualité du logement et des prestations proposées.
Si vous y séjourner nous ne pouvons que vous conseillez de prendre les petits déjeuners voire les dîners.
