Limey's Bar & Restaurant

This place is great for a good time and is family friendly! My kids loved their quesadillas and they even had Jenga out for some fun while they waited for their food! Simon, the owner is always on site and there is clearly pride in ownership. The staff were friendly and we have no complaints!

They definitely make the best chilli guaro shot around and very well priced. Live music pretty much every day around 5, and at a decent volume where you can still enjoy your meal and have a conversation.

what a nice surprise. it is basically a pub, so i wasn’t expecting much from the food. but it was really very good. the safe are nice and friendly, the location central - what’s not to like.

A lively bar with fantastic food. The fish was some of the best we’ve had in Costa Rica.

I was freaking surprised in a great way with the wings and everything fried. I falled in love with the place. Good music, cold beer, awesome food and sports... What else can I ask for!

We had dinner here two times, crispy chicken burger (excellent) and fish tacos.
Accompanied with white wine from Catalunya and sundae ice it was one of the better meals we had this holidays.

Ate upstairs for lunch - so didn't see the nightlife, and the TVs weren't on. Sat upstairs with rain coming in. Great breeze, good view, good music. Had the special of the day Tuna Steak and it was fantastic.

I really enjoyed this place. I've been back several times already.
No joke I think this is the best coffee in the area. They use a real espresso machine and not just a pod machine from Britt like most of CR. I had an Americano and it was good by any standard. I know this place isn't the coffee shop but it was really quite good.
I've been here a few times I've had their burger I've had their chicken nuggets I've had their chicken wings etc. All was pretty good. They also have a happy hour where drinks are approachably priced

Great place. Typical bar ambiance with upgraded food. Service was very good, portions large, and our food (chef salad, fish fingers) excellent!

Best place in Samara to hang out and have a good time. Service is always great, food is awesome and there is music on most nights. We love Simon, he a great host/owner. Can't wait to go back and hang out with all our friends that we have met there!!

Great vibes and good food. Went for happy hour and it did not disappoint. Lots of live music. Definitely the place to be in Samara to have a good time.

One of the best shrimp quesadillas ever. Nice atmosphere with music and super friendly staff, cute doggies in the restaurant and they personalized my dish exactly how I wanted it. Wine was tasty and very competitive prices for the area.

The majority of their main staff have been there for years which is a solid sign of consistency all around... which is hard to come by in Costa Rica tourist towns. I can also say they serve the most impressive chicken wings I've even seen with my own eyes too!

Good drinks, not as pricey as other places in Samara. Ok, so it has an expat/tourist vibe but if you want to watch desportes estado unidienses a few hours on your vacation it is pleasant and economical, with friendly local staff.

Awesome atmosphere and the staff rock. This is by far my favorite restaurant/bar in Samara. I take my Blazzing Buggy rental golf cart there all the time. This place has really made my vacation 😁

Five star all the way - from the service to the food and the ambiance - wow! Highly recommended.
