Bijagua Rainforest Tours

Marlon is an excellent tour guide! We stayed at the Rio Celeste Hideaway Hotel for our honeymoon and booked tours through them and he was our tour guide. My husband I went with him on a volcano tour for Arenal Volcano and then he took us to lunch and then to the hot springs at Los Lagos resort. We loved it so much we decided to go with him again to do a horseback riding tour and an ATV tour. The tours with Marlon are private so you don’t have to worry about being with a group of random people or having other people go at a different pace than you. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does and he showed us so much! We would definitely call him again if we ever go back to Costa Rica!

We had a fantastic tour of Tenorio National Park with Isma of Bijagua Rainforest Tours, he was so friendly, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable. We learnt so much and he made it fun for our kids too. Saw so many animals and birds that we’d have definitely otherwise missed, including snakes, howler monkeys and sloths. Would 100% recommend them for a tour!

My friends and I did the Rio Celeste by Mountain bike tour. One of the greatest tours I've done. Guides were excellent and were very knowledgeable about Rio Celeste. The included lunch was amazing, and the setting was surreal. A great place for birdwatching as we ate our lunch. The biking was a great workout and the ride down to our cars was so fun! I would definitely recommend to anybody.

I did a tour one and half week ago at the heliconias hanging bridges and in a chocolate plantation with a guide vallée Freddie. I was with my husband and my two children. We spent a wonderful day. These tours were very interesting for the four of us. I highly recommend this organism. Regards. Pascale

Mit Marlon haben wir eine vierstündige ereignisreiche, aber auch anspruchsvolle Wanderung durch den Tenorio Vulcano National Park gemacht. Gemeinsam konnten wir die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt entdecken, Marlon hat uns dabei sehr viel Wissenswertes erzählt, war immer mit großer Begeisterung und der nötigen Ruhe unterwegs. So konnten auch wir unseren Blick für diese einzigartige Flora und Fauna schärfen. Er hat uns morgens am Hotel abgeholt und dort auch wieder abgesetzt, nachdem wir gemeinsam ein leckeres Mittagessen in einem zauberhaften kleinen Lokal abseits der Touristenpfade genossen haben. Danke für den tollen Tag!

Super Tour durch den Urwald, wir haben 4 Faultiere beobachten können sowie viele Vögel, Frösche und Insekten. Sehr spannend und lehrreich, herzlichen Dank an unseren Guide!!

We did the two hour night tour. It was nice. Please note that the entrance to the property doesn’t have any signs so you might think you are not at the right place. Don’t worry it’s safe and not dangerous. The staff and guides are incredibly nice ! The tour is pretty much in the back of the owners house where they have turned it into a mini jungle. Nice for seeing sloths, frogs, and insects. If you want to see more than that, dont expect it. Price was good. Been there done that. Thank you!

Balade de 2h30 sur le sentier des ponts suspendus d Heliconias. Nous avons pu observer une famille de singes-araignées, un fourmilier et de jolis papillons. Marlon nous a appris beaucoup de choses sur la vegetation.
