Hotel Entre Dos Aguas - Hotel in Sámara, Costa Rica

We loved our stay. The Hotel is beautiful, calm and relaxing. The staff were always kind and helpful. Daniela is an amazing enterpreneur, her hotel shows her care and love. Lina was so attentive, creative, always finding solutions for our needs or our kid's needs. Muki was the perfect furry friend for us, we love cats.
The Garden is gorgeous, we got to see Coatis almost daily, the pool is perfect size. The beach is not far at all to walk like 5 minutes. Perfect location. 🥰 we were so happy and miss all. Pura vida!

Lovely small hotel in the lush green garden. We stayed at the hotel on 2 separate occasions this January. It was lovely the first time and so we came back and lucky for us they had room. There are only 8 rooms. We stayed in the standard room, the large room and the tree top suite (my favorite). All rooms are comfortable. No a/c, but lots of fans (3) and for us it worked well. The place is clean and well maintained. The pool is clean and refreshing. Outdoor kitchen and fridges are super handy. Two outdoor areas for hanging out. All in a lush green garden environment. 5 easy minute walk to the beach.
But for me, above all, this place has a lovely vibe, the sort of comfort that envelopes you and makes you feel very special for having found it.

I spent almost 2 weeks in Lilah and Brandon’s hotel and I loved both the friendly and nature driven atmosphere, style of this place and the provided amenities. My room was comfortable, well equipped and I loved its interior design. Small meaningful design elements inspired by nature brought a special atmosphere to it. Maybe a little firmer mattress would be better but it is always question of taste.

My second favorite thing was the garden with the outdoor kitchen. Taking into consideration of the expensive restaurant prices of Costa Rica it was great that all room has its own space in the fridge and I could cook anything what I wanted, not to mention the fruit mixer (I love papaya smoothies). During the day the free coffee helped us to beat the heat. After lunch/dinner a siesta in one of the garden cosy hammocks was a usual activity.

Last but not least I would like to highlight the friendly, familiar atmosphere of the place. Lilah and her receptionists were always there to help and give information about anything we were curious about.

This whole stay was more being a guest in a friend home then in a hotel.

My wife and I are planning our third trip to Samara and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere other than Entre Dos Aguas. Less than 5 minutes to the beach, close but not too close to downtown, a wonderful pool and clean and comfortable rooms. Even with all that, the main reason we keep coming back is the people, from the owners Lila and Brandon, to the other guests, many of whom are repeat guests who stay for extended visits. It's like staying in paradise with family and friends. We love it there and you will too.

vibes vibes vibes!!!! Possibly my favorite place in Costa Rica ! So beautiful, so peaceful for how close it is to the main town. It's like your own little paradise. Everything was super clean. The pool was so awesome! The owners were so kind and caring.

A tranquil, welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant, clean rooms with a beautiful common area in the middle of a tropical garden. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location right at the end of the main street, a short walk to the beach. Great value for money.

Beautiful, peaceful and magical hotel surrounded by lush plants, flowers and wildlife. About 5 minute walk to the beach but nice and quiet and away from the noise on the beach at night. Thank you to Javi for all of her help and kindness and in making our stay amazing! Loved the treehouse suite and seeing the family of howler monkeys everyday while I was there. Thanks for having us and we’ll be back!

I have been meaning to write this review for a long time, but life seems to get in the way of these things. However, a review is so necessary because it was such an amazing place.

My partner, Jeff, and I stayed at Hotel Entre Dos Aguas in December this past year (2016) for 3 short but spectacular days. Samara is such a beautiful town, and the hotel was just as stunning. Right from the beginning of our reservation, Brandon (the owner) was extremely helpful, especially in coordinating our ride from Liberia to Samara. The driver they use - Odir - was awesome. Although we experienced a bit of a language barrier, he still let us stop for coffee, pick the music, and got us to our destination in half the time (terrifying at times, but he seemed to have it all under control! haha)

Upon our arrival at the hotel. Odir dropped off our bags for us and then was off in a flash. Our check in was a breeze and we received a bunch of recommendations on restaurants and activities right off the bat from Brandon's wife (her name escapes me right now but she was lovely). We stayed in a private suite (one of the large rooms) on the ground floor with a queen bed. The room was very clean and had an armoir, small table, and a beautiful ensuite bathroom with a stone shower grotto that was open to outside - netting over the ceiling - it was spectacular. We didn't cook our own food, but there was an outdoor communal kitchen that we stored our beverages in. The main living space was all open with hammocks, tables, games, and books... even an honour system beer fridge - LOVE! Overall, the grounds were very well kept with nice gardens and the pool was a refreshing retreat after long hot days in the sun.

Not sure what else I can say about this hotel, other than if you're in Samara you need to stay here.

Relaxing and laid back atmosphere.

This place best deal in Playa Samara. It has beautiful grounds with a nice pool and wild monkeys, kitchen facilities, tidy and spacious rooms, good internet connection, cool showers, and a very short walk to the beach and excellent local restaurants and bars. The owners are very cool too.

Nice spacious room with a well equipped and fully functioning kitchen. Nice pool area with combo of shade and sun. Close to the restaurants and beach. Daniela is a friendly and helpful host.

A great place to stay with wonderful owners. It was so nice to enjoy the city, the beach, and the restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. We went with our kids (10 & 15) and everyone agrees that we will definitely be back!
