Mirador el Nido del Arenal

Amazing food combined with friendly staff and views to die for of the volcano and town. Great place for the whole family. For kids there is field to run around in, swings and a trampolines. Two spots to take great pictures. Pictured food here are the patacones and a traditional breakfast with coffee. I highly recommend the yucca as well. Our group got the chicharrones, fish fingers and rice with shrimp which everyone went crazy for.

This place is amazing!!! The food & drinks (I got the arroz con pollo and the margarita tropical) were delicious!!!!!!!!

The atmosphere and view are AMAZING. There are three photo spots with a perfect view of Arenal. I loved it here.

Beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano! The mirador is worth it but it's a very rough drive. The food is some of the best I've had.

We've been to many places here in La Fortuna and this was by far the most amazing and delicious! Very fresh fish, patacones, and fried rice con camarones to live for! Highly recommend. Oh and the most breathtaking views you can imagine!

Amazing experience! The owner, Rodolfo, was so kind and friendly. The food was really good. It is not easy to get to, but it is really worth it!

The most beautiful spot for an amazing meal. The road up is rough so be sure to have 4WD and be super careful but worth every scary moment of the drive. The views are stunning and the restaurant festive and thoughtfully designed. Not a bad seat in the house. The patacones and casado were delicious but the ribeye was amazing! I believe they are cash only.

Beautiful restaurant with an excellent view off the beaten path! Service and food was very nice. We got to see 2 toucans in the tree right by the restaurant. You also get a view of the volcano from there and it’s so peaceful!

Very much enjoyed the food and view at this restaurant. I saw some previous posts mentioning they were charged for the view next to the restaurant but we did not experience this. Unsure if it's related but we did have a full meal here while taking photos of the view.

Thought the shrimp with garlic parmesan spaghetti was delicious!

Also a very friendly puppy named Tyler hung out with us, definitely recommend stopping here!

The chicken casado was really good! We had a group of 21! We had chicken, steak, salmon, and chicken and fries. The staff was really nice and helpful. Great views from the restaurant and the lookout points above. You can drive a car up here but it was nice having a 4 wheel drive vehicle to drive up the steep road to get here. They had live music too. You have to pay with cash

Excellent view, excellent restaurant, must visit if in the area!

Found this place just up the road from our Airbnb. The best part about the place is the view. The food was typical Costa Rican cuisine. Prices weren't to bad. Check it out.

Great place with a nice view off the Arenal Vulcano. The only minus is that they close at 19:00

Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar de la calma y tranquilidad, se pueden observar aves como dos especies distintas de tucanes. Una hermosa vista hacia el volcán Arenal.
Excelente atención y servicio. Precios que van de la mano con el lugar y la atención.
La calle sólo es apta para 4x4

La vista es espectacular
Hay mucho espacio para parqueo, el restaurante también tiene buen espacio. La decoración es bonita.
Hay dos miradores bien bonitos para fotos.
Música a un volúmen agradable.
Los precios son aceptables, las porciones son buenas, y buen precio.

Excelente opción de tour de un día en los alrededores de la Fortuna de San Carlos.
El camino está en buena condiciones, cualquier carro puede llegar. En días despejados se toman muy buenas fotos con el mirador y el volcán Arenal de fondo. Las opciones de alimentación en el pequeño restaurante que queda junto al mirador son buenas y variadas.
Además pueden contratar un tour completo que incluye cabalgata, visita a una catarata, y a los dos miradores, el del barco y el nido.
Definitivamente vale la pena la visita.

Este es un lugar para ir cuando visitas La Fortuna, la vista del volcán es impresionante, puedes observar variedad de aves y la comida también es deliciosa. Si quieres impresionar a un turista o a ti mismo, este es el lugar!
