After a long day at the beach and having dinner, we decided to stop by this ice cream shop. We stopped by on a Wednesday around 5:30pm. We were attended right away as there was no crowd or long lines. We placed our order and paid. It’s clean, like others have mentioned has A/C and comfortable seating. I ordered a scoop of coffee ice cream and a scoop of “galleta” which is basically cookies and cream. The coffee was great but definitely preferred cookies and cream. My husband got a sundae and he got strawberry, vanilla and the chocolate brownie. All super tasty ice cream.

POPS was a great find! We ate there both in Alajuela and in Manuel Antonio/Quepos. It became a favorite! They have anywhere from 10 to 12 flavor options and their pricing was reasonable at about $3 or so for a single scoop. I did a two scoop cone with chocolate almond and coconut. Yummy!

Clean and cool place across from the sea with super creamy ice cream. Definitely worth getting the waffle cone.

The special Mangocuya was amazing. And Muffin loved her birthday vanilla ice cream too…good clean location, with great staff and smiles.

As a non local with limited Spanish; this place was great. We ordered no problem and everyone thought their ice cream was top notch. I wish I could say I’ll never be back, but with 2 kids this is now their top choice for the week.

Not going to lie, we stopped at a few of these in Costa Rica. A little pricey, but well worth it. The air conditioned establishments make for a great break from the heat too!

AC, ice cream, shakes, around 20 flavors + suggested combos, good prices. Not a lot of seating inside. One of the best ice cream shop choices in area.
