Mangata Peruvian Restaurant

Amazing place in Quepos. It felt kind of local, rather than touristic, and that's exactly what we were looking for. Everything that we ordered was fresh and delicious. Nice presentation as well. We are definitely coming back there again before leaving the country. Ladies were pretty fluent in English although we spoke Spanish with them. A restaurant is kids friendly too as they have high chairs and enough space for strollers and etc.

Absolutely delicious - ceviche and tuna tostada were amazing. The staff were really helpful and recommended some additions to the food to make it even better.
Obviously more expensive than sodas but worth it as well.

Wow, I impressed with the food. My wife and I met the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. My wife is Peruvian and I'm from Israel, so yes on Thanksgiving we had to have Peruvian food. We love it, the food was very delicious and full of flavor. The presentation 👌 was spot on. Just Beautiful. This was our first time there and definitely coming back.

Simply amazing. Authentic peruvian food reasonably priced and friendly service. Giving them 10 stars for food. We had the classic Peruvian ceviche, lomo saltado And causa de camarón. Can't wait to go back

Delicious high-quality food in Quepos. It's a little out from the centre but the food quality is a notch above everything else we've had in Costa Rica. The food was all extremely flavoursome and very well presented. Worth the trip if you're looking for some high quality food in the area. The service was kind and attentive too.

Found this place by chance, and we are so glad we found it! Food was great, drinks were great and service was excellent! Large portions, and leftovers were just as good as time of meal! We will be back!

Took a detour here since we were having typical Costa Rican food the past few days. Had the fried plantain with chicken aji and guacamole, and classic ceviche appetizers. For the main course we split the chicken chaufa. All were excellent!

Amazing peruvian style ceviche. Have had the opportunity to have ceviche across Peru and these guys do it justice. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. The pina and mixed juice is also delicious. The service is also super friendly.

These pictures look amazing. but they don't do it justice because it tastes even better than it looks. I keep coming back for the maracuya pisco sour, regular Peruvian ceviche and tenderloin saltado!

We came to the area because of the park; we will return because of Mangata Peruvian Restaurant. It was incredible. We ate there both nights of our trip. I’ve eaten at many top restaurants throughout the world. This will be one I remember forever.

Best restaurant in Quepos. The ceviche was to die for and one member of our party said the fish sandwich was the best she's ever had. We were only in the area of three days and we ate here twice - it's that good. The locals that we encountered during our stay all mentioned that they also love the restaurant.

Absolutely incredible and very reasonably priced! All in including 2 starters, 2 mains and 3 drinks we ended up around $110, for absolutely delicious fare!
I’d say the octopus especially was the best I’ve ever had and their ceviche and tacos were also great!

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant and applaud the chefs. We have been here many times and had many different dishes and EVERYTHING is incredible. The location has some street noise, but this never sways us from dining and delighting in our meal. A must go if you’re in Quepos or Manual Antonio!!! Tell them The BobKat sent you 😉

Great personalized service and authentic Peruvian food. It’s fusion so some details are different but the flavor is really tasty! We are a Peruvian family so we can attest. Our favorites are Lomo Saltado with Huancaína Spaghetti (or sandwich), Aji de Gallina Patacones, Pulpo al Olivo, and Seafoor Jalea. Top 6 best restaurants in Manuel Antonio & Quepos.

The food was amazing! Lots of choices and very reasonable prices.
I tried the tuna bowl and tuna tostada.

A fantastic roadside restaurant. No beach view but plenty of good food at good prices! If you’re in Quepos, and you can handle the sound of trucks and motorcycles, don’t miss this almost-hidden gem!

Wow! This blows away every other place in town I’ve been to. The Tiradito de Aguachile was fantastic and a good size meal portion, too! Everyone was super friendly, and I wish I could try everything on the menu. Only drawback is it’s next to a busy road.

One word …. AMAzing! Fresh, simple, flavoursome and super healthy. What a breath of fresh air. And great value for money. I’ve eaten around the world from Michelin star to street food places. Mangata is now in my Top 10. The restaurant is 300 metres from the fisherman’s marina. I never knew Peruvian food would be this good.
