Excellent gluten free pizza. Clearly a delicious homemade crust, not that garbage UDIs crust everyone uses back home.
My family was very happy with our dinner. Would definitely come back!

My parents and I had an amazing dining experience here! Jonathan was an amazing server, super friendly and very prompt at all times.

The food was also amazing! The pizza in particular was a highlight, but the vodka penne was also very nice.

Their gluten free crust was the best my mother has had in her 15+ years of eating gluten free, it almost seemed too good to be true!

We also had an amazing time with Pizza Horse and Pasta Goat! Pizza Horse was very friendly and patable. Pasta Goat seemed a little standoffish, but I won't hold that against him, since he's a goat.

During our stay in the Punta UVA area, this pizza restaurant was the only place we visited twice, and for good reason. The pizza was outstanding, with an incredible crust that truly stood out. The focaccia bread and salads were equally impressive, adding to the overall delicious experience. They also offered a great selection of craft beers, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend for anyone in the area craving exceptional pizza and a great dining atmosphere.

The best place to have amazingly delicious food in the middle of the jungle near to the beach. Best pizza in Costa rica. The owner is so cool, and he knows how to treat the clients. The place itself is a piece of heaven for nature lovers. Don't miss this place if you are around. I give 5 stars just because there are no higher rates.

If you fancy original Italian food and a fantastic outdoor ambience while travelling through the Southern Caribbean, this is the place for you. We had the best pizza of our holiday. The service was friendly and speedy, the tables were lovingly decorated and, last but not least, it was a very family-friendly place.

Our third time eating here. The pizza, pasta, bread and everything we ate was delicious. Super yummy food. Feels like a hidden oasis. The staff is very friendly too. Definitely check this place out.

This place is AMAZING!! The staff is so friendly, warm and welcoming!!! The pizza is like being in Italy and is made to order. The drinks are fresh and wonderful. The rustic ambiance is peaceful and adds to the enchantment.

The owner is from Palermo and you can feel it already from the pizza as he brought all of the Italian flavours with him.

The decor is very nice all the cocktails looked amazing I really enjoyed my minty lemonade all ingredients are high quality and very fresh!

Best pizza in Costa Rica for sure! They even have vegan cheese and the vegan pizza is very tasty they are happy to add or remove some items from the pizza!

Apparently I had to wait for Costa Rica to get the best pizza in the world! Stone oven, perfect ingredients and ingenious oils to refine the pizza. I can only recommend everyone to come here!

This was a beautiful surprise near Punta Uva. We were looking for a nice hot meal on a rainy day in Puerto Viejo, Limon. All of the roads were flooded and it looked like all of the restaurants were closed and we didn't want to cook today. We initially stopped at Gypsea because we heard music and saw some lively, beautiful people inside. We were happily greeted by the owner. I truly enjoyed his energy. It was quite refreshing on this gloomy day. He let us know that he was closed for the day but his brother owned the pizzeria next door and he walked us over.

He introduced us to his brother and a server came and introduced himself and allowed us to choose a table. The menu had many great anti-pastas, soups and pizza options to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I am vegan and my daughter is not. We have been staying in hotels and a whole pizza would have been a waste of money. Our server was communicative and very nice and explained that we could do of the pizza vegan and they also had vegan cheese. This was great for us. The pizza was prepared nicely and it was evenly split. The vegetables were fresh and treated with care. I was glad they had garlic oil and chilli pepper oil on the table to add to the experience. This pizza was very delicious. You can tell the chef has a real love for food. We each had our fill and saved a slice for later on. The pizza was excellent, I feel like I thanked the chef too much but I wanted him to know how much we appreciated the food and the experience. I would recommend La Leyenda to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo and we will be visiting again soon to try more on the menu.

Best calzone pizza i ever had. I usually prefer classic pizza but after this calzone i changed my mind. Lot of ricotta cheese and fine ingredients. Maybe extra slice or two of prosciutto would be even better I am not a pizza master. High price is understandable for such a delicacy.

Delicious! Pizza is amazing, the pizza roll del chef is to die for, and they make great mojitos and margaritas! Good vibes and close to the beach too!

Stumbled in here looking for something to eat and glad we did. Amazing all around, our server Alejandro (I believe) was fantastic. Always had full drinks, super attentive, great to chat too and an awesome guy. Food was spectacular. We got a charcuterie board and I also got a quattro formagio pizza. Charcuterie board was massive and everything was fantastic. Pizza was perfect wood fired deliciousness. I added some garlic olive oil to it (table side bottles) and it was perfect. Atmosphere was great, felt like your at your best friend's house hanging out and he's an amazing cook.

Great menu and pizza was absolutely delicious, you won't be disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, very open and good mood. We watched a family of monkeys in the trees above while eating. Great service too.

Food was amazing! My partner is celiac and had their gluten free pizza and had no reactions and said it’s some of the best GF pizza she’s ever had! Price was more than reasonable for the value. The atmosphere was very cool, open air seating on decks with tin roof covering. Easily would come here again.
