Chata pod Ostrým vrchom

This is a great place to visit. Very nice surroundings. Kids will like the playground and mini zoo. Very friendly staff. Recommend as a bike trip destination or a waypoint.

I always loved this place since my childhood! It is located in a beautiful area with a great opportunities to ski or hike! Cabin itself looks great inside and not bad from outside too! The terrace is very nice and spacious! We have met the owner this July and he's a very nice man! The food here is amazing and you can choose from many choices. I was never sleeping here so I can't comment on this, but I highly recommend this place to everyone! Every nature lover should visit! I also loved the fact, that you can see lama, emu ostriches, goats and all kinds of birds the owner has brought here to make this place even more interesting!

We rented out a nearby cottage. It was great. I hope we will get there again next year. Clean rooms, two bathrooms, three toilets, big social room a small kitchen... A place for barbecue at the backyard, covered ICE. ☂
An amazing experience.

A few kilometers ride from Trencin, into the woods surrounding eye-pleasing green mountain Ostry, one would expect to find a cottage with tasty traditional cuisine. And one would not be disappointed. I liked this place, everything was perfect. Starting with nice waitress, one of the best garlic soups I've tried and damn tasty potato dumplings called "halusky" covered by local sheep cheese "bryndza" and pieces of fried bacon. All beautifully served in vintage or traditional dishes. Wooden cottage, good company, forest behind windows... harmony for all senses. And one more beautiful day carved in my memory.

Jedlo super, vždy som bola spokojná, akurát porcie dosť malé, také ochutnávkové (napr. rizoto).
Mini zoo, prechádzka okolo, krásne prostredie, paráda, že tu niečo také máme. Skvelé, že tam môžeme aj so psíkom a majú aj detský kútik.

Jedlá sýte a chutné obsluha super na jedlo sa chvíľku čaká ale vynahradia to ochotou. V oblasti nie je signál nedá sa platit cez terminál ale majú možnosť platbou cez aplikáciu internet bankingu. Krásna príroda zvieratká naučene kŕmiť priamo z ruky. Jedlo pre zvieratká sa dá zakúpiť v reštaurácii. Vhodné aj pre malé deti. Ihrisko v areáli.

Zastavil som sa tu, len na jednu noc. Počas služobnej cesty, ale rád by som ostal aj dlhšie. Príjemné tiché prostredie, nie príliš ďaleko od mesta. Dobrá kuchyňa a dobré pivo. Priateľský personál a pekná mini zoo. V zime, asi aj dobrá lyžovačka.
