Camping Chvalšiny

We loved this campsite, it was quiet, fairly empty and you can simply choose your camping spot, so can camp in privacy. Sanitary facilities were very clean and very nice, you need your own hand towel or have wet hands. We ate at the bistro, swam in the pool and had a drink in the town-all recommended. Loved the chickens and the rabbits. Friendly owner and very relaxed vibe.

Their hospitality is simply priceless. There is absolutely nothing they cannot help you with. The staff is always smiling and welcoming.
We arrived after a challenging long hot trip through the Czech Republic, with a broken caravan. On arrival I asked if they could possibly put me in touch with a workshop that could help, repair the caravan's faulty brake system. Within a few days the caravan was repaired on the spot. All arranged and carried out by the staff!

Furthermore the place has amazing facilities. Our kids loved everything about the place. And we can only agree with them on that.
A really pleasant restaurant with delicious food and friendly service.

Let me tell you a secret: we will definitely come again!

The best recommendation for Camping Chvalšiny.

First trip to campsite in Czech Republic and definitely not disappointed. Very friendly and helpful owners who have been there for 18 months and working on improving site even more. Spacious pitches with or without shade spread over terrace or by lake. Swimming pool, restaurant, bread orders, some local items in reception. Only stayed 2 nights but will be back to explore more or just chill. Definitely recommend

Good infrastructure (water, electricity, wifi, washing house). Fridges for rent. Some activities for kids and grown ups (but you need to sign up early). Good Restaurant and the nice old City just about 10 Minuten away.

nothing to complain about, clean toilets, big spots for tent’s, enough to do with kids, swimming pool, 2 playgrounds, good restaurant, nice people and beautiful nature around what else do you need, had a great time and definitely recommend;)

Perfect camp site with spacious places and nice facilities (good size swimming pool, play grounds, beach volley site, sound proof youth place and fishing/swimming pond). In the middle of nature. And not to forget perfect bistro with good pizza an other meals.

Really nice campsite, with great an amazing view if you get the right spot. Staff and owner are working extremely hard to make you feel comfortable, they went above and beyond to cater everyone’s needs. Especially recommended for those travelling with kids, but also a great starting point for people without kids who want to explore the beautiful nature and adorable villages in the area. Sanitary facilities where super clean and the restaurant at the campsite serves delicious meals, always with a smile!

We were in autocamp Chvalšiny with my family which consists of 5 people and one dog.
The owners are wery polite, helpful and symphatetic, who showed us great amount of hospitality. We enjoyed all of the facilities, played the beach voleyball, the size of the camp is huge, so you don’t need to be very close to the other campers. The swimming pool has salt water and is very convenient. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful campsite, deceptively large. Large places to park on grass. Not feeling cramped at all. Next to a small pond. Swimmingpool present. Toilet block modern, very clean. Not sure if the facilities are sufficient when the site is full. Noticed that various family activities were organised by the owners. Small restaurant/cafe on site. Lovely for a visit to nearby Cesky Krumlov.

This was a toplocation to go camping, so the western prices are gladly payed. The toilets and showers were quite new, and spit spot. Everything was very neat and tidy, and wel maintained! We are used to go camping in France and Spain, and these showers were tidier than what we are used to. Showering was free, since it was not high-season yet. The place to do the dishes was also very tidy.

The owners were very friendly people, to whom you could ask everything. They are from the Netherlands, so it was nice to be helped in our own language, but there were mostly Dutch campers on the campsite as a result.

Our spot were we could put our caravan was spacious. You aren’t allowed to use a plastic ground cloth, so the grass was very green throughout the entire campsite. There are a couple of small walkingroutes around the campsite. We did one that started at the firepit - it took about 20 minutes - where we saw some wildlife.

The village was a 10 minute walk, with a local shop with the most essentials. Cesky Krumlov was a 10 km drive by car.

So - apart from the many Dutch people and the rather expensive price - a very well recommended campsite!!!

Stayed 10 nights, friendly family well run dutch site. Spotless toilets, showers, washing machine/s book at reception, but many sinks to do hand washing, even an old hand wringer (which was very popular) and an area with washing lines. For families a swimmimg pool, 2 children's play area and small lake for fishing. Bread could be ordered daily at the popular bar/restaurant. Once a week a bbq smoked trout, delicious, a make your own pizza night, children's club.

Lovely idilic site within easy reach of Cesky Krumlov by bike. Good modern facilities, nice flat grass pitches, free good quality WiFi, and free showers (early season). A couple of local shops and bars in easy walking distance and friendly helpful owners. There are 3 good playgrounds, a swimming lake and few animals to keep the kids happy. The early season price was also very reasonable.

Beautiful and picturesque site with a great atmosphere and great people. The arranged make your own pizza was also excellent thanks to the owner Petr.
