Tranquil gardens and they've somehow managed to keep a water mill ruin as a place to visit. The gardens offer a lovely open spiritual stroll. We didn't make.it inside as the tours started later in the day and wanted to see the St. Marus Reliquary.

It is a great mix of religion and history. It shows how hard times can be survived. At the moment you can visit the beautiful library and the convent and the church. All is worth it. Just walk around the pond, or the court and do a quick time travel. The place is kids and handicapped friendly. Parking is easy at the entrance, local products can be found and there is a little tea shop too.

Very impressive church and monastery just outside of Marienbad spas. Surrounded by deep forest, this is a piece of medieval world in present time...

The most important monastery in West Bohemia, where the monks still live, which is open to public (one part) and even allows the public to sleep in and meditate in the adjacent gardens. The Premonstratensian Monastery of Teplá was founded in 1193 by the Squire Hroznata, a Czech nobleman.

Recommend to everyone who is nearby to visit with a local guide. Interesting professional guidance. Near restaurant looks like from old communist era.

I visit Tepla monastery's library, church and etc. during an astronomic conference. In the evening dinner was served in form of raut table. Delicious hot and cold meal and desserts were served. All of the food were tasty and sweet. I recommend this place for conference or even for individual visit. Staff were kind and nice.

Nice monastery. There are two guided routes. Water toys for children in the park. Small refreshment is possible to buy there.

The entrance to the church is newly reconstructed and it’s beautiful
