Bison Ranch

A very calm and relaxing place to spend time with your dogs or kids. This ranch is located in the middle of Czech Canada, which is a great place for biking, hiking trips etc. Rooms are clean. There is a kitchen available with dishes, fridge, stove and all accessories to be able to cook. It's awesome. The restaurant is very cosy. Breakfast great.

Our service was stellar. Food arrived within 30mins, staff was very warm and friendly. Our bill actually came a little lower than we expected, so overall a great experience.
Many have complained about the speed and quality of service here in the past, but I guess this must have been resolved since it to waiter was very helpful, recommended us what we then also really enjoyed and the steaks were delicious.
We also had the Czech "smažák", which is a fried cheese. We opted for baked potatoes and it was a fantastic meal (for CZK 100) only!

Brilliant surroundings, nice interior, great cooking (where else can you eat bison) and professional service. I cannot fault the place.

A kids corner is usually available.

The outside terrace is great in summer and winter alike.

Can be closed for events so check ahead and reserve a table as the place gets busy.

Very pleasant experience. We had really good tartar, carpaccio and ribs. All from bison meat. The whole time we had a view to a pasture with bison herd. They have a special Bison beer too ;)

If you ever get the chance to visit this restaurant then you must, luckily I'm married to a beautiful Czech woman so have visited the country many times and when we went to this restaurant I was blown away, not just the fact that you can see the bison grazing in the surrounding area, but the food was absolutely amazing, no other words can describe it!! One of my favourites anywhere in the world!

The trip to Bison Ranch is somehow challenging (very narrow roads, kinda dangerous), however it's worthy. There is plenty of space to park your car and then go for a walk, to see bisons for example. The restaurant itself is super, you need to have reservation and they do not accept cards, only cash. The food is good! And there was a lot of kids, so prepare for noise. And they are dog friendly. Recommended!
