Smrk / Tafelfichte Observation Tower

Great place. Quite hard walk from Czerniawska Kopa, around 1.5 hour and especially in winter, the last part can be difficult, but totally worth it. Breathtaking views. Very near to Stóg Izerski.

Amazing view. Tower is free to enter, there is a tourist shelter at the bottom, few benches for a picnic and a toilet in the back. Really nice hike in jizerske hory!

Great view over the Czech and Polish Isere Mountains. Free access to the top of the tower. On busy days there is possible to buy coffee and some booses & sweets from the mobile salesman.

Amazing place with great view. There is a hut where you can get warmer and eat the food you brought.

Beautiful place, with amazing views to the surrounding landscape. There is no regular buffet, only one very nice old man, selling drinks from his tent. It's cheap there and local quality. Recomend.

Lost count of how many times I've hiked up from the village of Bílý Potok to this iconic viewing tower. Normally do it in winter for a good challenge in the snow and for the isolated quiet beauty, but summer is equally magnificent is its own way. Really beautiful location.

We were there on 12th May 2018, there was a little kiosk, there is a room at the bottom of the viewpoint where you could take a rest. One dry toilet and no trash cans! Please keep this in mind and make sure you will not let anything there! It is a pure and beautiful nature.

Smrek peak on the Czech side has a nice observation tower. There's an unheated room you can use to regroup if you end up caught in a blizzard :)

the last one km of route to Smrk, from the Polish side is passable only for experienced bikers

We took the cable cabines in Swieradow Zdroj to go up and then walked the whole way across the Czech Polish border to the Smrk watch tower.

The view was really lovely. A bit crowded though.

Very nice place. You can reach there on feet or using bicycle.
