Chata Rovina

Lovely cottage with a quaint interior, friendly staff, delicious traditional Czech meals and wide selection of drinks invites you in when it's cold and misty outside.

If I take advantage to spend my free time in Dobrá voda I'll visit restaurant Chata Rovina everytime. It's not just a nice walking, but also I'm perfectly gonna eat there. I highly recommend the duck with cabbage and kinds of dumplings and as a dessert to order tiny potato pancakes which is fullfilled plum jam and poppy seed.😋 I can't forget, the staff was helpful and nice to me.🤗 Enjoy this place!

Surprisingly great restaurant in the middle of nowhere xD
Of course, you can come there by car and there is a big parking available. I saw some people coming by bus, but not sure how they did this.
Staff is friendly and ready to help with choice. They might be a bit confused with English, but google translate will help you.
Menu is simple and comes in Czech and German. Of course, it would be cool to have English version too…
Food choice is not that huge, but that’s actually a good thing. Each item kinda works nicely with other choices, so you will definitely pick something. By the way, they offer tocena kofola, what is really nice in hot days.
Prices are somewhere in the middle, definitely bot cheap, but you get good portion and food quality is great.
They also have nice strudel which goes well with lungo.
All in all this place is recommended as the great closing stop after hiking around Sumava. Oh, nice view is also included and there is playground for kids. ;)

Cozy place to warm up and get a bite to eat and a beer after cross-country skiing or hitting the small slope near by. Great food. The fruit dumplings were devine. They have great beer too, Klostermann.

Nice location, in particular when you have the chance to sit outside. Enjoy the view and a decent beer. Delicious local food. Perfect chill-out place.
