Castle Landštejn

Great castle! The ruins are well preserved and presented. Amazing views from the view tower. Well catered for English and German speaking visitors.
Archery and crossbow were a bonus.
2 car parks with different prices (but the difference is minimal)

Nice castle ruin where has sense to go, accessable by car/ motorbike and 2 large parking places. Visiting time approx 1 hour is enought, you can step up on to tower, great countryside view. The recommendation is early visit, otherwise can be crowded by bus tours. Entrance approx 5€ per adult person.

Must see castle ruins. Lots of hidden rooms and stairs. Some exhibits are hard to find but interesting. Must climb to the roof for the best view in Czech Republic.

Has to be said that our visit to this castle was unplanned. With little knowledge this castle offers you good enough leaflets about the history, as well as providing information in a small museum within. Great 360 degrees views from the top. You don't need to leave your dog behind in the car and can bring it all the way into the highest tower.

One of the best preserved castle ruins in the country. The largest tower provides good views of the surrounding forests, well worth the 150ish steps up to the top.

A selfguided tour allows you to take your time or race through and then relax in the moat/park and do come cross/bow shooting. Not sure if and how guided tours work.

No refreshments were availble at the castle so get them at one of the 3 restaurants in the village just below before you go.

We didn't visit castle inside however even a lot of happening outside the castle too. Beautiful restaurant and playground.

Beautiful ruins of a castle with a lot of text about all of its owners, restorations and findings after all of its glory was long gone. The nature around is lush and green. Beautiful.

Self guided tours.. signs in multiple languages. Highly recommended. Not accessible by wheelchair.

Really nice castle worth to visit, if the weather is nice, climbing up promises a perfect view.

Great for a day trip with family and even young children. There is about 200 steps to make it to the top.

Amazing place! Very well preserved castle, a magic and big one, even from Romanesque period. Nice views from the watchtower. Guided tours through summer season. A brochure in English available. Really great place for history lovers!

Like stepping back into medieval times. An unbelievable experience. 360 degree view of Czech lands from the top of the viewing tower of this beautiful ruin. A must see / must do experience.

Quite big medieval castle in ruins, but better preserved than most of others around. Easily accessible and situated in nice landscape, it's really worth the visit.
