Lovely place, a bit remote and a wee walk from any U-bahn station but well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are massive and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, typical for this type of Bavarian establishment, and this place is much better value for money than anywhere in the tourist parts of town. Highly recommended.

Absolutely enormous portions of delicious Bavarian food. Staff was very kind and attentive, and also very forgiving of our attempts to do everything in German. Entire family gushed over every part of the meal and left stuffed to the gills.

The food was traditional, Bavarian, very tasty!
The servis also was very fast and good, even though it was a full house, our waiter was very friendly.

A favoured local of the American Drama Group Europe for post dress rehearsal dinners prior to embarking on international tours. The best thing about this place besides the exceptional service is the fact that they do Edelstoft on tap.

Excellent food and service

Great little spot in Munich for lunch or dinner.

Friendly and kind waiters, even if my German language skills are not very elevated, the waiters could speak English and made me feel at my ease every time I went there, almost four or five times! The meat is excellent as well as the vegetables and the Gasthof itself is really nice and pleasant. I felt home all the time! I would recommend it!
