Very sweet spot! The rooms look lovely, as the plaza you walk in. The chairs are comfortable, but the cup holder sits in the chair in front of you, which makes you feel every time someone puts a glass behind you.
Price is normal for Munich. Tasty popcorn.
Nice light beam and not too crowded rooms.

This is by far my favorite cinema in the city. It combines all the qualities if both Munich and the love of films. It’s a little hidden, although it’s in the center of the city, and you will be quite happy to enter this cute little world of film (with painted movie posters and cute cinema rooms)

Seats are comfortable, a lot of screenings, nice atmosphere.

One but: the ticket lady isn't particularly nice. Also never gave me a reduced ticket whenever I showed my student card. She just ignores it. And this happened already a couple of times. (:

I really love this small theater! Not one of those commercial ones in the mall filled with loud teenagers. They also play quite a lot of the movies in English with German Subtitle. It is small but cozy and has a cute little bar attached to it if you come too early and want to kill time.

Best seats I've sat on in any cinema. Films are often shown in original language. Arthouse selection is great. My fav in Munich!

Cute, cozy movie theater in downtown Munich. Be aware that it isn't the newest and most modern but for last minute plans super happy with it.
Be aware that you can enter the part of the theater 15min before movie begin. Prior you can wait in the Kiosk area or in the summer on their outer area.

A good place to watch original version movies. If you register, you get a euro off of your ticket.

Went to the SciFi and Horror FilmFest to watch Mars Express with friends. The place is vibrant and showcases searchlight as well as renowned films on their original version with english subtitles, which I find ideal! Prices on the small sweets shop are reasonable, and the popcorn are fresh and perfectly salty. On top of that, sweet popcorn are glazed with some kind of caramel that is not too heavy an smells of vanilla. The theatre is tidy, in classic red seatings and a very comfortable setting. I would really recommend this Cinema to anyone who enjoys a nice movie with friends :)

It's a nice and cute cinema. If you prefer watching movies in the original language, there are more choices and better movies in English.
The courtyard in between is also nice to have a drink and chat a little before the movie starts.

It's a little cozy cinema in the backyard right in the busy city center with an old school vibe. The screen, lighting and the sound were very good and seats comfortable. You can buy sweet and salty popcorn. Prizes are good. They display films with original languages which is very big plus.

I love this cinema. Has hidden backyard with sitting option - ideal place for a drink before you go in the cinema.

Personally, I find the cinema the best place for movie with OmU.

The rooms are good, and I also find the movie selection great. Here you can find more of a european independent style. Popcorn is delicious :)

Great Kino! The open lobby is very nice and the movie theaters look very nice with the hand painted pictures on the walls.
The only thing I did not like was the 20min long advertising, but it is what it is.

Monday is mongay featuring LGBTIQ+ featured movies. One a year there's QFFM, queer film festival Munich.

Chairs are super comfy and reclinable. Prices are very reasonable and competitive, staff is super friendly.

Great movie theater. The rooms are not too big, which ensures a better experience. Tickets are availanle online, but when bought at the counter you get a free popcorn. The popcirn is delicious. I've been there more than once, totally recommended 👍
