So dig this! You can actually get a Cinema Membership for 20€ a month and watch as many movies as you want! I’m still trying to figure out where the catch is … but it sounds amazing for a cinema lover such as me.

Besides that, the arena cinema is just what you want in a cozy little cinema. Very pretty, helpful and friendly staff and a comfortable cinema room.

Would definitely recommend, I’ll see about that subscription.

I was there for the first time and liked the traditional atmosphere very much. They did necessary technical updates quite carefully and stylish what I wish to honour expressively here.

The little 'Arena' with two auditoriums was renovated during the Covid years and I am really happy it survived that dire period. As long as I can remember this likeable retro place has been a safe bet for ambitious arthouse movies with a high percentage of 'queer cinema'. It's always worth a visit and I have just learned that it's offering a quite reasonable monthly subscription in combination with other local cinemas like Monopol and Maxim. Great!

I really like the place. however, they should ban the crisps from their sales : watching Aftersun ( great movie by the way but really quiet ) with your neighbour eating crisps next to you ... the sound of the chewing is all over the room.. really to noisy..

After often walking past without even noticing that there was a cinema, I finally made it in!
Arena Kino seems to focus on more artsy movies - also the whole interior/setting is somewhat different from classic mainstream cinemas.
This creates a family-like atmosphere, since also in the different rooms you don't feel lost and have some kind of community feeling (without the anonymity of huge rooms with hundreds of people).
A big plus is also that they show a lot of movies in the original version!
If you are looking forward to enjoying some popcorn with your movie, then this is the wrong place for you. They do not sell popcorn

Small and cozy cinema with a nice atmosphere. Ideal for those sophisticated movies that you can't see in the mainstream cinemas. Very friendly staff, and you can get something to eat and drink here.

Very nice and cosy cinema. As they don't sell popcorn or large drinks, it was a pleasure to watch the film in peace and without the noise of constant crunching and slurping. For that reason alone I will certainly return!

Tiny cosy theater but the screen is at a comfortable height and distance, and the sound is good. A good change from the multiplexes. This is how movie theaters were not so long ago.

Small and cozy cinema, my first time here and I've enjoyed it so much. Right in the middle of the city very easily accessible, lots of bars and café in the code vicinity, a really cool place. Hope to be back soon.
