Restaurant Poseidon

This place has a beautiful atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly. Has a beautiful view of Idar Oberstein as the restaurant sits on a hill. My husband and I ordered the Feta Cheese as an appetizer and we really enjoyed it. I then ordered the Gyro and Calamari dish. It was a lot of food but I certainly enjoyed it especially the salad that it came with.

Beautiful restaurant with picture-perfect scenery surrounding it. The food is home-cooked, and you can taste it. Everything is fresh, and piping hot when it comes to you. The staff is always on the go because the restaurant stays busy, which is a good sign.

Top notch one of the best in Germany that I have had. The lamb chops are very well cooked and very well seasoned. I think it's a family-owned business. They take pride in their service. The drinks are phenomenal. The food is phenomenal. This place is most definitely a place where you want to go take your date. Take the family because you can sit there for hours, eat, talk and have a good time. I most definitely recommend the lamb chops they have a great wine selection. Overall top notch I literally drive an hour out of Kaiserslautern to eat here and it's several Greek locations here.

This is the best restaurant that I have been to in this part of Germany! For the price, you get A LOT of food, and it is delicious. I talked with the manager for a bit, and he was so friendly. He even offered a couple of free drinks on the house. I highly recommend!

I am so happy that someone referred this place to my husband and I. EVERYONE was so nice and helpful. Our food was amazingly good!! I mean everything. It was packed but we got our food quick. I wish I had made room for baklava. There's always a next time.

Great food very authentic and such wonderful service. It's a family business and everyone there is friendly. Plus everything comes so fast. The terrace over looking Idar is the best place to eat, and they have it full of heaters so even in cold nights is fine to sit there. Very recommended.

Wonderful atmosphere and great service. The food is great and I highly recommend people to swing by and give it a try. I have enjoyed been there 2x now and plan on going again because both times I have been there I enjoyed myself.
