Van der Valk Hotel Gladbeck

We stayed here to be close to MoviePark. The rooms were great, lots of space and the breakfast was really good. Lots of options from eggs and bacon, to different breads, cakes, fruits etc. The only negative was the veranda that has access to all the rooms, but as long as you keep the door locked and curtains closed it isn't such a big deal. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean and nice rooms. Vert complete and lovely breakfast. Good distance to Movie Park. But absolutely and superb lovely staff that are child-friendly. They received drawings, pencils, a little toy and a lot of attention from the staff. This really makes the difference! 10/10

A warming welcome, very polite staff and a great entrance! Clean rooms, great breakfast and they even have a quick charge for your electric vehicle on the parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for a local hotel! Thank you very much!

Booked a night stay for my parents on their way to Poland. They are really happy with a hotel and outstanding service by hotel staff [thanks guys].
The next morning, they had a really good breakfast and were back on the road.

Here you immerse into the old middle to upper class style. Lots of ambience with a great staircase and entry per the old luxury touch and decorations. Not for person's expecting the modern unpersonal hotels as now common.
Beds are soft with feather pillows. Rooms large, many with access to the exterior balcony.
Very friendly and professional staff. Thanks a lot!
Buffet with a variety outside of the main stream with high quality.
WiFi signal needs to be improved.
Conference rooms in all sizes available. Bar open until 1am.
E-Car loading docks available.

I had a great stay.

Everything went very well and very easy. It started with the smile from the receptionist. Easy and fast checkin within 5 minutes had I the keys.
Good and clean rooms. We took dinner also there. Dinner was great. The waiter was extremely friendly.

Breakfast in the morning was variety. People working there were friendly.

Wonderful place for vacation, with very nice and polite staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We were treated amazingly. Highly recommended place.

Excellent stay, fast check in, beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant areas, newly refurbished room was very nice. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had and the prices overall are very competitive.

Nice large rooms, a bit dated however clean and everything needed is available,
The bathroom was large for a hotel with a bath and a separate shower.
I would visit again.

We had a wonderful time at the Van der Valk in Gladbeck , a beautiful disabled room, fantastic food at breakfast either hot or cold your choice or both, bar staff very friendly obliging, most of the staff all spoke excellent English very helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I visit Gladbeck in the future. The hotel was spotless full marks to the cleaning staff especially Laura ,hard worker friendly always on the go .

Awesome reception! After that, nice room with loads of space. Only 15 minute drive from moviepark Germany! Very nice beer garden close by where you can grab a good dinner, 5 min walk away

I loved this hotel and staff. Clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast buffet was very delicious with a lot of choices. Location is great! Within driving distance of a lot of great attractions If you have children. They sell tickets to most of the attractions as well, so very convenient. Lots of information on things to do in the area at the reception desk. Didn’t get to use the bar facility, but it looked amazing in there. Will definitely come back.

Friendly staff and a really clean hotel! It looks super old and it really is but the interior is authentic. My girlfriend surprised me with a stay here in an upgraded room. They laid rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom as well as candles. Room service was very nice and there was so much choice for breakfast.

We stayed one night, and it was a great moment, nice room, nice view, not so far from the Movie Park (8km). And what a wonderful breakfast

Beautiful hotel with nice rooms. The beds are amazing and also is the breakfast. There is a nice lobby where you can have a drink or a bite. There is also a bar if you want to dance a bit. Great place!

Nice hotel, big familyroom with four beds. We had a seat, buro and bathroom with bath and shower apart, toilet and washingtable. Our room came out on a large balcony, wich was common area for like 7 rooms. You could smoke there or sit on the chairs. It was next to trees with behind a road. The breakfast was nice and the employees friendly. Good hygiene and nice quietly.

Great service, and polite employees. We had some troubles with a combination trip too Bottrop ski arena (the place was too crowded so they let no body in). So I called them about the problem, it was no problem too rearrange the arrangement or to cancel it, without charge. I don't know how the rooms are or how the food tastes. But a nine for the service and employees.

I like the design of the hotel. It differs from the standard hotel design. Food was always good. Service friendly. Meeting room was fully equipped with Beamer, Flipchart, etc.
