Very friendly waiters and nice food. We accidentally ended up here but no regrets

I had a simple meal of Half Pork Knuckle and a Radler here by myself on a Saturday mid afternoon. The place was not crowded on the inside, and the service staff were cheerful. The external tables on a nice sunny afternoon were mostly taken by locals.

The pork knuckle was pleasantly nice. I have tried many pork knuckles in various Bavarian restaurants in Germany and this was of an average standard. The meat was tender at some parts and slightly dry at some. One thing that was good was that the potato dumplings were not so starchy and the accompanying sauce was well balanced and tasty.

Its a place to go for a pleasant meal with good service.

Definitely the best duck dish I've tried in Munich. The sauce is not too salty and the red cabbage is not too sweet.

The waiter and waitresses are really friendly and attentive.

Love this place! Food is great, service is friendly and price is reasonable. Absolutely worth the shot! When in Munich, this is my go-to place for the best Pork Knuckle!

Great everything, all around, again!

If you're looking for some good traditional Bavarian food with great service this is the place to be. The staff was welcome and attentive, special shout out to Suri and the food was delicious and generously portioned. We will definitely come back anytime we are in Munich and looking for some good local food.

Must visit place in Schwabing. Good vibes from the waiter and terraces with delicious food: schnitzel and sausages. Not so quick service that you can usually expect due to amount of tables. Overall great choice to try Bavarian dishes and bretzel.

The service at Wirtshaus Zur Brez´n was great and the pork knuckle was delicious, succulent, tender and falling off the bone with the crispiest of crispy shells.

Well worth a visit. 🍻

Great food, nice staff. Lunch menu is a super good deal - each main is about 8-15 euros. The schnitzel on my second visit wasn't as great as the first one- maybe the main cook was on holiday since it was Easter Sunday!

Veal goulash was excellent!
Not forgetting the service from the staff!
Excellent place too for a drink and just to watch the world walk by...

Traditional Bavarian food is delicious, the staff is polite and offering suggestions if you are not decided.

We had a meal that offered a variety selection and was 29 euro per person, it was fantastic!! Service was friendly and we were able to sit outside on an evening that had a lovely breeze. Highly recommend!

Very nice and cozy bavarian "Wirtshaus". The beer was tasty and the Dreierlei of white sausage was extraordinary. Would go there again, anytime.

Classic bavarian restaurant with traditional german food. Quality of the food was excellent and reasonable priced.
