Very nice ambiance.
Nice waiters.
When arriving without a reservation, the waiters ask if you agree to share a long table with other patrons. Gives the opportunity to talk to local people as well as ones coming from abroad.

The locals highlight the excellent taste of the famous grilled pork sausages. Undeniably good.
For dessert, the recommendation is the caramelized shredded pancake with apple puree. The serving is labeled as being a plate for two (they don't offer a single portion). Thanks said, the actual size is for a minimum of six :-). Very good dessert but very sweet and rich consistency.

We came here around 8pm on Monday and were seated right away at a 4 pp patio table. The server speaks English, the menu had 3 different languages. Very tourist friendly location. There was live music for a while. Smoking allowed outside + patio seating. Heated tents! Love the atmosphere since you can see the city while we dine.

Menu was good. I like the pork hock or pork belly. The grilled meat platter was worth it. That one is minimum 2 servings per table. We ordered 2 servings and couldn't finish it ):

Most amazing food we’ve eaten on our trip. Got the pork belly and my boyfriend got the granny’s meatballs. Taste was incredible and place feels really authentic. Not expensive either. So happy and definitely recommend!

Guided by google map, we found this Bavarian dinner near the Marienplatz. We ordered the traditional wiener schnitzel, red cabbage, meatloaf, and of course some Augustiner beers 🍻 Lots of outdoor seating if you enjoy people. We chose to sit inside since it was a bit rainy and cold. The meatloaf looked like thick slices of Bologna with better flavor. The red cabbage is rich and tangy. The schnitzel was cripsy outside and juicy inside. Our waiter was very friendly and talkative. We shared a table with another couple from a different region of Germany and had a good conversation & laughter over several beers. I say check it out.

This place was gorgeous despite the crowd. Felt like totally in the German local mood. The waiter was extremely good at his service - unfortunately I didn’t get his name. The food was amazing, especially the sausages and the duck!

Had a reservation for 7pm I think and we arrived quite early (our first meal in Munich). We were seated with another couple in a table. Actually when we were ordering, we noticed a lot of empty seats but after 15 minutes, crowd came in lol. Food came in around 10-15 minues and holy cow the sausages were awesome. Frankly the meat loaf was a normal meat loaf but I didn't want to spend too much on dinner. Would bring my parents here if we went to Munich

This a great traditional Bavarian pub/restaurant in old town. When you enter you feel it’s the 1800s. Amazing sausage and beer. Super pretzels. Excellent service where you get to sit with others/strangers.

We dined here the weekend before Christmas, looking for Nuremberg’s for my mom. The restaurant was fully booked but we were able to sit outside easily and every table had blankets to keep warm. Service was slow but I suppose understandably so. The food was incredible and the atmosphere can’t be beat (inside and out). I had the schnitzel, my mom had the kartoffel nockklen, my brother had goulash souppe- all fantastic.

We visited Nuernberger Bratwurst after a long day at Oktoberfest tents and it was the perfect location for a good hearty dinner! Our dining experience was delightful and the restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. Every dish was superb! We especially enjoyed Oma's Fleischpflanzl (meatball patties) and the Wurstl Kartoffelsalat (potatoes with white sausages). The Schweinshaxe (pork nuckle) was to die for as well! Everything was perfectly grilled and bursting with authentic flavors.

Friendly staff and a warm ambiance make this restaurant a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Try the barrel beer, nice nutty taste. I also had the knodel(dumplings) and they might be the best I've had. The terrine of ox soup was ridiculously big, come with an appetite.

Their homemade sausages with sauerkraut as a side was so good. Sauerkraut lacks a bit of pepper and salt, but all in all perfectly cooked. Sausages were really meaty and tasty, well-seasoned. The pork knuckle was super juicy and tender, although the dumplings that came with it weren't that great (just a personal preference). It was crowded, but to me it really seemed like it's because the food and beer were really good which wasn't far from truth. They also brought out the food really quickly which was surprising but in a good way, and usually you'd think that that is a bad thing because everything would be cold or dry, but luckily it was a complete opposite. The restaurant is clean and there's a nice restroom as well.

It was very busy for a Thursday night but we made reservations and were able to be seated right away. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Our favorite dish was the pork knuckle.

A very nice place to go with friends, near to the U-Bahn Marienplatz and the city center. We went here for a recommendation and it was 100% the best, the food delicious, very big plates and the quality very good. The dessert that we tried was a mix, but it was a lot, even for the 4 of us we couldn't finish but even with that it was so delicious that was so sad for us leave a portion. Also, the main dish was a mix of meat between pork and duck and also potatoes, it's perfect for 2 or 3 people. The specialty is pork in most of the dishes, but you can find beef and duck. If you want to eat something for here , very homemade and local, you can come here and try, you will not regret.

very yummy! big portion of food for a rather reasonable price. i love how that it is authentic Bavarian food - only locals were there. Staff were nice. And it’s so conveniently located in the heart of town, easily accessible by the U-bhan.

Great location in the city and close to the train station/ tram stops. The restaurant gets very busy so highly recommend a booking! The food was delicious. Especially the plate with the mixed sausages. Definitely must visit if you’re in Munich

Came here for lunch and everything was amazing! I would definitely come back for some great Bavarian food. Good portions and good quality food and beer. Service could have been a bit nicer towards to tourists but still a good experience.

What a treat. A small place with a bunch of personality and great food and beer…what more could you ask for? Just walk in a take a seat if one’s available and you’ll be quickly asked what you would like. It’s efficient and friendly. I opted for the traditional charcoal grilled sausages and sauerkraut. Such a great combo. Put this place on your “places to go while in Munich” list.

We loved this place! We loved that much that the next day we came back again ! The vibe is really cosy and warm it was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks to Joseph and Dimitri who welcomed us really kindly and made us feel really comfortable, I really felt like I was visiting old family 🥰
Also the food was really good and the beer too ! I've drunk my first 1L and it was quite an experience 😆
The quantities are pretty nice, really worth the price ! I'm regretting to haven't finished my plate because I was full if I could I would fly back to eat it 🤣
We will definitely come there the next time we visit München!

This place was recommended and good call! Very charming restaurant. Dark wood interior with beer steins and plates on the shelves, many photos on the walls. We dined on the second floor which is cute also. Lots of outdoor tables if you visit when it’s a bit warmer. Most tables are large (seating 6+) so you might be sat with other guests (it’s fun).
The food was quite good. I love a grilled bratwurst and they specialize in that. We tried the pork sausages and the Nuernberger wurst. Both came with some tasty sauerkraut (I believe horseradish or potato salad are options for the side). I like all the options for portions, some come in 6 or 8 wursts etc. My husband enjoyed the beer, especially the Dunkel. After trying it recently for the first time, I plan to try as many kaiserschmarm as possible. This was a good one. Big portion for one person (easily feeds 2-3). Thicker pancake than I’ve had but very tasty. I loved the crispy caramelized parts and the applesauce was a nice accompaniment.
Our waiter was funny and friendly. Great service. You can make reservations online (it’s not a huge place so if possible, make a reservation).
I would definitely eat here again.
