So nice to find a German restaurant that has plenty of gluten free options! Tried the gluten free goulash soup, pretzel and veal schnitzel and they were all delicious! Great atmosphere and friendly english service!

Loved this place. We went to the museum and wanted to eat something quickly before getting back on the road.
The staff is absolutely charming, helpful and smiling. Food is proper grandma style, especially the roast and knödel. They have a large play area for the children in the middle of the big room (and not hidden away in a corner). Will definitely return!

Had the Saibling with an amazing sauce - absolutely delicious. You can always taste the high quality of the ingredients used. This is really top notch Bavarian style Wirtshaus with uniquely created dishes as well as the usual Bavarian suspects. The Schnitzel is also the best I’ve had. Can recommend 100%. Always feel welcome here and the staff are extremely attentive and helpful.

Went to eat after visiting the museum nearby. The service was good. Placed filled up minutes after opening. The food was also good and not too bad priced.

Ate here with sensitive coeliac. Plenty of gluten free options and even with language barrier, server was able to help and make recommendations. Had a fantastic family meal.

Wirsthaus am Bavarianpark is a traditional restaurant with indoor and outdoor environments, very cozy and with a very good service. There are the typical Bavarian dishes and they also provide some nice options for kids. Prices are OK and dishes are very well served. It is also possible to leave your Fahrradanhänger inside if is a rainy/snowy day. A place recommended to visit before visiting the Public transport museum.

I went to this restaurant in December. It still has a Christmas decoration that is so nice. I like this restaurant a lot. This restaurant is decorated with all wood. You can feel warm and cosy inside this place. This place is the one of the oldest restaurant in Munich. The food is very good, it is tasty. The price is quite high but it is not worst to come to try.
The waiters are a bit slow but I could understand that. It has a lot of customers. I recommend you to try the pork leg.

Was planning on looking at the menu and moving on as I'm on a budget but the waiter was so friendly and welcoming that I stayed & got a Weißwurst (white sausage - something all visitors should try). The waiter also talked me through the dish (how to eat it, taste, history...) which, as someone who has done little research, was ideal.

The food turned out to be delicious and I can't speak for large groups or customers looking for a huge meal, but my experience of Wirsthaus was faultless. Seems like a brilliant place to eat and drink.

One of the best outside locations - especially during Oktoberfest times - very close to the Wiesn, but much more relaxed and quite to start with, or end after the Wiesn chaos :)

Without question, the best German food we had on our trip. No english menus but it worked out for the best. This food was very flavorful and the staff was very helpful though we didnt speak much German! Highly recommended!!

Have been here twice. Loved the atmosphere. Menu isn't very expansive but the food was good - had the schnitzel this time and would definitely recommend it. Would definitely go again.

This was another good stop while we were in Munich, good food and beer. Seems to be mostly locals. We had a good time at this stop for ‘brunch’ before the Oktoberfest festival started (2019).

Awesome service. This beer garden is in an unsuspecting corner of a plaza, I honestly thought we were walking the wrong way...then turned the corner and found this wonderful place!

Always a fantastic spot to go here when in Munich and maybe after a visit to the Deutsches Verkehrsmuseum.

Love the vibes here, especially in spring/summer outside.

Amazing traditional Bavarian restaurant, and one of the first places I've ever found that offers a good range of traditional food with gluten-free options. Can't wait to return.
