A small, artificial village where almost everything is made out of wood. In the summer, the World Cup in chainsaw carving is held here. Therefore, you can find a lot of artistic wooden statues from previous years all over the place. They also have the longest table in the world. I went here with some colleagues to spend a night in a log cabin. We had our own grilling area and a wooden jacuzzi. It was a very pleasant trip.

This is awesome wooden masterpieces. Some houses and an open air museum of wooden sculpture. Everything is so well organized and there is something for everyone. Parking area, then a little walk in the uncontaminated nature and you arrive here where you find several places to sit and drink some fresh drinks from the little bars here. I love this place.

This is a quiet and beautiful place. There are a lot of wood sculptures from Huskycup. You need more then one hour to see all of them and of course to see all details. You have a parking place and from there it takes about 30 min. to the chalets. There is a playground for children too.

About Seiffen
Town in Germany

The town of Seiffen is located in the district of Erzgebirgskreis, which is in the central south of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. The earliest record of the town dates to 1324 when it was referred to as "Cynsifen". Seiffen nestles in the heart of the Ore Mountains, which are famous for many Christmas traditions. As the silver and tin deposits declined, former miners had to look for new ways to feed their families. In addition to lace making and weaving, the local population turned to wood carving. source
