It was very interesting and entertaining for my 5 year old son...
With lots of airplanes...
You can go inside one airplane and see inside a couple of them up close...
Overall we enjoyed our sunday in the museum..
The tickets prices are 10 € for adults and 5 € for children older than 5 years old.

I went there with my colleague a few weeks ago and I thought it was fantastic. Many very interesting pieces and artifacts. They had many super interesting things. Big models, bigger real pieces, some to buy, small figures and set ups, stunning size comparisons and much more.
They have student prices! I forgot my student ID when I got there but the super friendly lady at the front desk gave me the student price anyway. I also got to go on toilet while I was waiting for my company and the same front desk lady opened the staff entrance on the outside so I could quickly get there (I didn't pay yet)
What was not so great was the temperature. In summer, I expect I'd be nice and cool inside but in winter, I froze my butt off. It was inside two large industrial halls. But I'm a rather slim person so someone with a normal weight might not freeze as much.
The way getting there might seem a little confusing because the area looks industrial but as long as you follow the long street along the train tracks and then take a right turn at the end, past the white bars, it's easy to find.
Will definitely go again some time!

It was so nice and we had different experiences, when looking around all the aircrafts of different periods. People who love airplanes and detailed stuff regarding it will definitely like this.

A bit pricey but for sure worth a visit at least once in a lifetime:) Stuff is well experienced and super friendly. Chilly inside though.

An absolute gem of a place , this is an aviation enthusiast's candy land. The place is well maintained, tabulated and organized. Each model tells a story of its history, innovation and engineering. Interspersed are personal touches of men and women who have contributed to such amazing aerial marvels. From start to finish if you are a aficionado, it can take up to 2 hours to tour the whole place. I would be skeptical to recommend this for children younger than 5 given how detailed and structure oriented the place is.

Much larger in the inside than you may think by just looking at the building from the street. Spitfire, Focke-Wulf, F-104 Starfighter, MIG-15, and it's only the top of the collection. The mementos of WW2 have got a serious extra weight here in Hanover. Worth visiting even if you are not deep in aviation or history.

A hidden gem you can't google this place when you search for museums in Hannover. As an aviation enthusiast I love this place, absolutely can spend a day here just looking at the machines and falling in love with them. A show of German engineering.

In the suburb of Hannover, this is a great place to learn about the history of developing of aeroplane. In here, we can see the true structure of thrust engine. Student could visit with half price at 5 €.

Super museum. Only 9 euro for an adult, and we spent 2.5 hours there. Many old planes, model planes and other Historical things. A walk through aviation devolopment, war and history. Also had an old volounteer Who could tell stories and facts about many things.
Can recommend 100%.

Very nice and interesting for children. It is a bit small, but they have nice toilets with baby changing table and even few tables and chairs in a seperate room, where our children could eat a snack. Very kind older gentleman who opened the helicopter for kids to go inside and gave a little model plane to our son.

A small collection but a lot of stuff to see. Planes covering most of small planes during the years, engines and also a big collection of models

My son and I enjoyed it. A quiet old school type museum where you can get up close to the planes. No long texts on signs or annoying videos running endlessly... just a nice experience and place for seeing and talking about iconic planes
