Stayed here for 3 nights during a collaboration meeting. It was a wonderful experience. The castle itself is very beautiful and gives a royal vibe. It has a stunning view of the lake in front also lovely staff members made it a wonderful stay, would definitely love to go back again ☺

This is a facility of Max Planck society used for scientific meetings. The idea of keeping researchers for some days in the castle is very good because it induces collaborations. The view is awesome. The castle itself has interesting history. The food and service is very good quality. It is open to public twice a year. Place contact the administration in order to know the exact days.

Totally loved the rooms and the views. The food was top class served with highest standards and tasted awesome. Highly recommended to visit. Very diffucult to get a booking though because they are booked out 2 years in advance.

If there is an open day, go visit it! This castle is amazing, and it has been a pleasure been able to spend some time there. Unfortunately it is not usually open to the public, so check the web page for more info.
